Clearly Apartments Aspire York  

Location was ideal to access the city, with the walls only yards from the door and the main shopping area litterally two minutes walk. The lounge window created a picture frame for fabulous views of the minster, which looked magnificent especially when lit at night. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very well equiped, immaculate and tasteful. It was very secure and peaceful as it was set away from any main roads.

Parking was a nuisance, (although you can park park free to unload) the nearest long stay car park was a good walk away. It proved cost effective to find on street parking near the football ground for free throughout our stay and a ten minute walk to fetch the car at the end.

The apartment was lovely, not very clean in places when we arrived, but the man that owned them came and cleaned round again after we told him. It was a really well equipted with a lovely view of the minster. We would certainly use it again

Not great for parking and unloading outside. Also the mattresses could do with a change!

The staffs there is really helpful, though, there is no reception or staff that I can contact directly (so I have to wait till they reply my e-mail). Since my train is at 16.00 but the check out time is at 10.00 so at first I kinda worried about all of my bags (there's no luggage room at the apartment), but the staff helped manage to find a place to leave my luggage. So I can enjoy the city a little more. The apartment is super duper clean and new.

There were three of us and I was the last one who took a shower. The water is not hot at the time I was in the bath t^T. The beds in twin bedroom are quite small. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Needed towel rails in bathrooms. Access to parking. Web site stated parking available on site. Was not available.

Location was good. Clean & tidy & modern apartment.

Parking was a problem. There was a public car park outside the apartment which was £45.00 for 48 hours. I used this as I wanted my car to be visible. There was another cheaper car park 5 mins walk away. But I wasnt happy using that.

Good location within easy walking distance to main sites and city centre. Clean comfortable accommodation with good self catering facilities.
