Clearly Apartments Holgate, York

Good location, secure parking, not a bad little flat overall.

Slow broadband, decor stretched the definition of luxury - tired and needs redone. Front window needs curtains. Shower fittings plastic and broken. Heating limited and heater in bedroom did not work. Flat freezing in the evening. Washing machine good, but no way of dyring anything - even towels.

Clean, compact appartments that provided more than the single room a hotel would provide. Adequately furnished. Very easy short stay accommodation. Nothing missing.

Wouldn't to stay in the summer due to proximity of the railway line. Imagine it would be very noisy with the windows open but perfect in winter as double glazing blocks out any noise at all.

York is beautiful an we have had enjoyable breaks there before which is why we chose this apartment. The apartment had all facilities you would expect plus free wifi.

I would say the apartment was a little more than a short walk from the city centre, fine if you're wandering in to shop or look around the city but less appealing when you're going out for dinner. For some reason the apartment feels a little pokey, though nothing wrong with the design per se it didn't feel particularly welcoming or homely. You could get the same feeling at travel lodge significantly cheaper and more central. The couch was small and not particularly comfortable and we couldn't get the hearing to work anywhere except the living room/kitchen area. It wasn't by any means a dreadful place, we still enjoyed our weekend but have stayed much nicer places in york for the same price or less.

well equipped, comfy bed. quiet location,very clean.

very bad drain smell in apartment. lounge furniture not very comfy. pity the door is on the street,very hot and had to keep door open. a liitle bit far to walk every day, not for old bones but we could have hired a taxi. recommend if your fit otherwise , use a taxi, york involves loads of walking so living here adds an extra 2miles round trip to any attractions.

Where do I start, location brilliant 2 minute walk to city walls & shops. Railway station and railway museum is a 5 minute walk from apartment.We travelled by car and used the parking space provided with the apartment, this was the only time we used the car for the 3days we were in York as everything is so close there is no need for a car.The apartments has a modern feel & was nice & clean with everything you need fo feel at home. York has everything,great shops restaurants museums everything you need for a well needed family break. In a word we "LOVED" it and have booked up already for Clearly apartments Aspire apartment in November for break without the child as there was so much we wanted to do ourselves. I would highly recommend Clearly bootham court apartment !

Only down side was we had to retune TV as channels were scrambled & selection was poor ,No ITV or Channel 4 or 5. I think that a apartment of this standard could do with a basic free view box or basic sky package.

Boiler doesn't work properly. No hot water.

What a perfect time we had! Very good location for all amienities,lovely and clean with everything you would need for your stay.We would definitely stay again at Clearly Apartments at Holgate,York without a doubt......just try and stop us!!!!

Wir mussten den Aufenthalt leider abbrechen, da das Apartment anscheinend länger nicht bewohnt war und damit sehr feucht, was sich auch in Form von Schimmel an und um die Fenster zeigte. Dieser war auch nicht mehr zu bereinigen. Deshalb mussten wir leider als Allergiker das Apartment räumen. English: We unfortunately had to cancel the stay in this apartment it was not apparently longer possible to stay there for us as an allergic person. It was a very wet indoor climate and there was also mold around the windows. This wasn’t to clean up any more.

Very good value for money. Nice, modern but simple ground floor flat. We loved the heated floor in the bathroom!

Some handles were a little sticky and the sofas weren't very comfy.
