I liked the very tasteful and elegant decor and furnishings in the main rooms and the bedrooms, and I enjoyed the lovely cooked breakfasts served in the conservatory. The attention to detail is excellant and the views from the hotel are superb. I did not like the steep flights of steps up and down to the entrance of the hotel, (obviously because it is built on to the side of the hill), and also the lack of shower facilities in my bedroom, not even a mixer shower tap over the bath, but I managed with the jug provided to wash my hair. |

Our room was large, comfortable and well decorated, and the views from its elevated setting were excellent. The staff were friendly and our breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold items. Whilst the bedroom was well maintained, the en-suite bathroom needed a little attention to prevent the shower leaking onto the floor. |

We came for our anniversary and they made the room look beautiful and gave us excellent service. The breakfast and the views were amazing! All in all, we were very happy with our choice of hotel. We were never given or offered the promised cake and coffee on arrival. We were looking for someone to help us in the evening and the hosts were nowhere to be found. |

Lovely location and views from the room. Liked the lovely 5* room. Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful conservatory. Good that in walking distance to the pub which again has beautiful views. Didn't realise that the hotel was as close to the rmain road as it is. Slightly disappointed didn't get tea and cake on arrival as suggested in your other reviews!! |
