The room was a reasonable size, there was a bath, and the location was peaceful. Our experience was marred by two issues. Firstly, meal service was slow, the restaurant is open for 2 hours for dinner, after a long wait we ordered, then waited some more, my steak was undercooked despite the wait. I observed other customers complaining of slow service and undercooked food during our 3 nights at the hotel. Secondly, on the Sunday, our wet towels, which we had placed in the bath as requested, were simply folded and placed back on the side of the bath (one was very wet!). It may be that staff are short in number on the weekends. (We had a nice lunch in the hotel opposite on day!)

The Hotel was very Clean and staff very wellcoming I have stayed in 4 Hotels in Devon and Cornwall in the past 6 Weeks on Business , My wife as also been stayed with Me I left a completed Questionnaire in my Hotel at the Cliff head which complained about the meal we had there. We had baked Cod which was dreadfull it was overcooked and mostly Skin it was placed on some potato wedges which was soggy and not very nice , without a doubt this meal was one of the worst meals my wife and I have had ,to call it a- la -Carte really was not correct ???? We have stayed in Best Western Hotels in the past few years and they were Ok The Both of us were very dissapointed, Regards James Hughes

The price for the rooms were excellent. The breakfast was first class. The young maitre d was brilliant friendly and very efficient as was the young man who also served us on the first day. The girl who served us was not bad but when asked a simple question about the kippers replied "I don't know I don.t work in the kitchen" A typical reply from young people today but so refreshing that the two young lads went out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend your hotel to anybody. The reception staff were also first class. Am happy for you to use my name as a recommendation. I will certainly try Best Western in the future. No complaints at all.

I arrived at lunch time, well before check in time. Christina on reception was very customer focussed in allowing me to check in early which was important as it allowed me to change from my travlling clothes into my business clothes in good time for my 2.00 pm. meeting. Excellent service.

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay ... The location was lovely and we had a very spacious, comfortable room overlooking Carlyon Bay... It was a superior room, a little more expensive than the standard ones but the view and the spaciousness made it worthwhile... The breakfast was very good... Good quality sausages, bacon etc. And the staff were attentive.

Nice location, pleasant environment. Breakfast serving confusion ie: is it buffet or table service? Car Parking was a challenge during our stay. Actual room was ground floor rear (extension) small and a bit dated.

The hotel was ok but far too hot, the heat in the place was stifling. We did call reception to request a fan, had to leave a message and no one contacted us, which was poor service

We had 2 meals in the restaurant and they were superb. Also the pool was great as very few places in the U.k appear to have pools. Also I must mention the desk staff -they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. Our only problem was it's location as we didn't have a car and was relying on public transport. This wasn't a problem on saturday but on Sunday there was no bus service at all-i guess most people would be driving so this wouldn't be a problem for most.

Room was fit for purpose Staff rather surly Restaurant menu ok but not great Waitress serving the wine, didn't open the bottle, thought it was a screw top, it wasn't. Took it away to open it. Didn't offer to pour some for tasting.

the views of coast are great, the staff and food were both very good. I am travelling from australia and this was a more luxurious hotel for me and I did enjoy that! The young staff members were lovely and people very friendly. This is appreciated when one is travellihng alone. No lift which does make it hard with luggage.
