Good location on the coast - and easily accesable to the Coast Path which I used a couple times. Atmosphere felt somewhat sedentary - and it the bar was like stepping into the 1970's, plus it took ages for anybody to actually come and actually appear to serve drinks. It's probably ideal for the more senior resident, or for golfing holidays, but for the single traveller like myself it was less than ideal. |

Really helpful friendly and willing staff - especially reception during the day/evening. Lovely setting. Grateful to the lady who printed something off for me, and for the staff who helped me find my way to a location in central St Austel. Nice breakfast. Really pleased to get an upgrade to a twin as my single room wasn't ready when I arrived (very early). Came down at 0100 hrs to go out to my car and also to have a smoke - but couldn't find anyone to let me out - and unsure whether front door was alarmed - and couldn't make out the lock anyway. Rang several times to no avail. Also great shame the back garden is not more cared for. |

The reception was very friendly, and made us feel welcome and at ease. Our requests for information were addressed efficiently and promptly. The Restaurant service was very efficient, but the food was average at best. |

Good location for visiting Cornwall and near to seaside. We had a De Luxe room very nice, clean and spacious even with the cot for the baby. Swimming pool too cold. |

Lovely views and close to attractions. Very noisey, walls very thin could hear other guests talking and going to the toilet which was a little off putting. |

The staff were tremendously friendly, and the location was good for visiting the coast. Understaffed for the breakfast service, slightly dated decor. |

The staff were really friendly, the room was beautiful and comfortable, the walk down to charlestown from the hotel was awesome. Altho at 35 I was probably one of the youngest guests it was a lovely stay and I would return. |

Good value for money. Receptionist (lady) was extremely friendly to myself and my daughter. It is really convenient for the Eden project - the purpose of our stay. Little soundproofing between twin rooms - noisy. Breakfast very disappointing. I wouldn't pay full rate to stay here. |

From our country house hotel by the sea, the only thing we overlook is the bay. Our spectacular clifftop location offers a 180 degree sea view over Carlyon Bay. |
