The location was ideal for visiting the Eden Project and touring Cornwall The evening meal menu was very limited- a choice of the same 5 meals every day. The organisation of the furniture in the lounge and bar during a wedding reception which was taking place was poor. |

a good location to visit places and sites in the area. a welcoming ambience in the hotel. disappointed to some degree with the day to day lack of choice of the dinner menu and the lack of variation in the vegetables presented. |

Accommodation was good except for the bathroom. Breakfast was poor. Because they had 2 coach groups in we had to insist that we had paid for breakfast and wnated to use one of the many empty tables. They had all been 'reserved'! |

They changed our room, because we could not turn off the heating and the room was hot. The swimming pool is closed from 1.October! |

Staff friendly, l had forgot to ask for a ground floor room as my husband is on crutches. The receptionist asked if we would prefer a ground floor room, we confirmed yes. The room was an upgrade from the one l had booked they called it a premier room. I did not consider the room to be of premier status. The bed very uncomfortable. |

location service in the restaurant - more training for staff required. Also don't seat everyone close together in the evening so conversations can be overheard. The restaurant is large, spread people out even if you have to walk further to serve tables and lower the lights please for atmosphere |

Our room (61) was so small that it cannot be described as a double. The ensuite was a cupboard and could not be used with the door closed. Our entire wing was only accessible via the restaurant but a notice says do not bring luggage through the restaurant, work that one out!! Could not get a meal on arrival (lunchtime) as chef wasn't around. We were upgraded the next night after complaining. |

Hotel was well run and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. The hotel would benefit from an upgrade as some of the decor was a bit shabby. The meals could have better indeed we chose to eat out after one evening meal which was ok but very basic. |

The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was spotless and had recently had a makeover. The hotel is in a nice quiet location and very close to the beach. Food is excellent. I think it may be slightly understaffed. Service could have been a bit quicker, but it was a busy evening. Not really a dislike more an observation. No complaints. |

The staff were very very friendly and helpful. They charge for Internet access. Whilst we were there (Two nights) they had issues with hot water and it was never better than warm. |

staff were amazing and couldnt do enough for you. food fantastic. room was terrible, the view was of the fire escape and the ensuite was ridiculously small, its the only hotel where you sit on the loo with your head in the basin. also next to kitchen so had extractor fans constantly running. |

Staff very helpful and pleasant. Nice sea views if you get a top floor bed room facing the cliff, otherwise room views not exciting Swimming pool looked uninviting. (Pool's plastic roof cheap, old and grubby). Hotel generally looked a bit old fashioned (but this reflected in the week end break price which was good value for money.) Overall a typical nice, comfortable seaside hotel |

There was a nice relaxed atmousphere. the staff (though under presusre,) were smart, polite and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. the public areas were comfortable and nicely presented. unfortunately we were not informed that there was a wedding party on the Sat evening (when we booked a table in the Restaurant). this obviously meant that the kitchen was stretched and our main meal was not up to standard. On mentioning this we were immediately offered an alternative. This is not a complaint, just worth mentioning to future guests if you have a large party. |
