Score from 105 reviews Fabulous
Highbury is on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, just a 15-minute drive from Penbryn Beach. The guest house has a traditional restaurant and a pretty garden.
Score from 83 reviews Very good
Enjoying spectacular views over the River Teifi, Poppit Sands beach and Cardigan Bay beyond, this charming traditional inn has a stunning location that is truly inspirational.
Score from 184 reviews Very good
Lovely location. The room was well appointed and clean. Food was very good and prices were reasonable.
Most members of staff were great but one or two let the establishment down, in particular a member of the bar staff who was disinterested and, at times, rude.
The breakfast was very good . The resturant exellent. The spa and pool are very very good. Hotel was excellent.
food, spa, view, sun lounge
gym, bed linen past its best, net curtains dirty
Everything, but especially the friendly, efficient and helpful staff, Plus the overall comfort.
pleasant staff, nice room with sea view, good food, best bed i have slept in for a long time re hotels, very enjoyable stay.
everything as great, lovely breakfast also.
Room was quite dated, no wifi and not much info about the area!
I loved the spa facilities especially :)
Golf course, Meals and good Hotel staff.
No morning papers. I had to travel by car approx.4 or 5 miles (round trip)
Most staff seemed to lack experience...but were friendly Breakfast buffet arrangements disjointed...guests had to to-and-fro between various locations in 3 ! rooms...needs to be streamlined! Great breakfast though!
Staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Luke ( Santa) was amazing, a brilliant manager. Refurbishment underway so be patient, they have a huge job to do. Views stunning, definitely staying here again.
Nothing to dislike.
sea views comfy bed great meals
The location was perfect and spa was great
I liked it all couldn't complain about anything
Hotel poor cleanliness didn't even change bedding smellt of old people.
Good breakfast buffet. Spectacular views of the bay. Small gym, relaxing sauna/spa facility. Reasonably priced good food in the restaurant or in the bar. Small boats can be launched from a public slipway nearby. Not at all crowded, even in August.
Not a problem for us, but there's not too much going on locally. If you want a quiet relaxing few days, this is well worth a try; but if you want noisy excitement, nightlife and wild revelry - go somewhere else !
Beautiful location, very good breakfast and extremely good value for money.would definitely return for another visit.
Beautiful views, spacious room, friendly staff
Cold air con
Beds were uncomfortable
Ground floor room with access to the grounds which is great for the dog and us, hotel is in a great location to explore the area. Staff very friendly and professional. Try the mackerel in the restaurant .. it is stunning.
the decor' would benefit to a little TLC in room 15, a quick work round and the owner will see what needs to be put right.
Staff were very helpful and arranged a different room immediately when I asked for one. Changed to a twin room with sea view and it was fantastic.
Arrived to find I had a double room whereas I had requested a twin. Very expensive for food and cannot see why light bites are not allowed after 5.30pm.Wifi was very patchy and not always available.
Fantastic view, lovely food , helpful staff
trying to find light in middle of Night to use Loo was a hazard
The yogurts and the views from conservatory, terrace. They take dogs( £5 per night)Manager emailed to apologise after I post on them FaceBook Page, that was kind.
Room no 18 in need of refurbishment. They have a big problem with the mould. Beds were 2 singles covered by a super king size bed sheet. Used towels by previous guest. Breakfast poor quality( extra £7.50 per person) they don't use free range eggs, this is very awkward when they are in Wales. Orange juice, cereals, beans were cheap quality. The mushroom were awkward too. The coffee was disgusting. I regret that I have paid them upon my arrival the £80 for such a horrible experience. Pay after you will check the room!!! They don't offer toiletries in the room. They should offer as they are AA with 3*. If they use the sign they should respect the rules.
