Brepfest was good food war grat
The wifi was not good but that's it
Very friendly helpful staff, decent rooms and very good central location at a good price.
Wifi not working during our stay.
Staff friendly and helpful .Breakfast excellent .
Unfortunately beds were uncomfortable and didn't smell clean.
location- close to leeds university campus
wifi, my devices could not find it
Comfy bed, clean room. Good Breakfast
The biscuits had already been opened and one had been eaten so I had to throw the packet away. Everything else was good.
Comfy bed and good size room. Lovely breakfast.
Some improvements required to make 1st arrival more welcoming and staff need to be clearer on if rooms have been paid for upfront. For the price of the room some finishing touches such as matching bedside lamps and decent toilet paper would make the stay more satisfying and better value for money. I couldn't get the WiFi to work but only tried and couple of times and didn't ask about it.
Perfect for visiting Leeds, close to both the centre and outskirts (Headingly and Chapel A). free parking. Good sized room
Mattress is very hard
Very friendly and helpful staff. Super breakfast. Great location. Car parking very good.
Excellent staff - helpful and friendly at all times.
Unable to keep window open as sash was broken and window kept sliding down. There was a piece of wood to prop it open but it didn't allow me to open the window as much as I needed. Kettle had to be placed on floor to boil water for tea as plug was too far away for the cord to reach. A pity as everything else was good.
Very clean and comfortable
cleanliness and large room size.
Excellent location for Leeds centre.
Quiet location. Great breakfast.
Centrally located and good parking facilities
This was a great find with free parking and friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean with nice décor throughout, looking forward to visiting again in the summer to take advantage of the pretty outside space. Good value for money, would definitely recommend.
Very quiet with lots of trees and greenery. A short bus ride into the city centre but also a few nice bars/restaurants in the area around the hotel.
Hotel has recently undergone a change of ownership. A few problems such as out of date information regarding WiFi etc but nothing to spoil our stay.
proximity to university and city centre
inadequate wi-fi coverage
Breakfast, friendly staff, location, car-parking, big light airy rooms.
A little tired
Good location, friendly staff, comfy and warm rooms
Couldn't connect to the wifi, annoying when I had work to do and the reason i stayed there was due to the wifi access. Tele was miles away from the bed and made it difficult to see.
The hotel is in a quiet part of town, which I liked as I needed to get on with some work during my stay. The staff were friendly, especially the breakfast staff, and willing to help out. Free parking with plenty of space.
The wifi at the hotel was advertised as being complimentary in each room, but my experience was that the wifi was only available in the lounge and was advised this was due to some 'issues'. The issues were not dealt with during my stay. The electrical equipment was not safe to use and was overdue a PAT test by 5 years. I lost the use of my USB stick and laptop cable due to a power surge (which may or may not have been related to the untested electrical equipment). The location is quite far from any supermarket or restaurant (it took me 15 minutes' brisk walk to reach a small Sainsburys) and given this fact it would make sense for the hotel to offer a dinner service.
Nothing to dislike. Will return if need accommodation in Leeds.
Room was clean and comfortable
Room was very cold, there was only a small radiator to heat such a big room.
The hotel staff were kind and helpful and the Breakfast was the best I have had in ages.
It saddens me to say that there were cobwebs in the room and the bath was unclean.
Really friendly, helpful staff who appeared genuinely interested in their guests. Lovely old-fashioned surrounding & a wonderfully comfortable bed. The breakfast is not to be missed - superb!
Probably our own fault but we didn't manage to log on to the wi-fi. Tried a couple of times but then gave up - we could have asked & I'm more than sure the staff would have sorted it out.
We have stayed here before, and appreciate the warmth, friendliness and comfort; also the ease of getting a bus or walking into the city centre.
