The times that we were out of it................it was too stuffy with no fresh air.The breakfast was good. It was poor.................the beds and pillows were like concrete, I asked for a fan but had no response. The evening entertainment was comparable to a really bad holiday camp of the 1960's and that is being kind!!!!! |

I liked the commmunal rooms at the hotel - the large bar + lounge - and then the separate lounge with large screen t.v. - good to have it spearate. It provided a good opportunity for relaxaiton without having to resort to the bedroom. I didn't like the fact that it was difficult to find anyone to check me in - there was nobody in the reception area to greet guests - which I thought was poor for a hotel of its size and style. The same happended when trying to check out. Also the breakfast service was poorly handled; the layotu meant that people were queuing out of the dining room door as others helped themselves to fruit juice etc. The coffee was very poor. |

The accomodation was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. There was a bar area and also a separate lounge area that had a big flat screen TV where we could watch the tennis and other shows. Staff were very friendly. The location was perfect - amazing view from the front of the hotel and only a very short walk down the road to restaurants and shops. The beach really is directly across the road! The hotel does feel a little dated, and seems to attract a much older crowd. Also, parking is fairly limited (we were lucky enough to get the last park!) and views from the back rooms are not very nice (look over empty blocks). |

Way to expensive for what it is, can not wait for the travelodge to open in newquay as it will be clean and budget. the price for what it was, should be more like £40 |

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The view from the room was stunning. Perhaps the entire hotel could do with updating. |

The hotel was great, we requested a sea view and that's what we got, the room had a double and single bed even though there was only 2 of us. To be able to sit in the window and watch people go by and the surfers was great. The only thing was th edouble bed, it was very lumpy. But we survived. |

Good value for money, the rooms were a bit victorian styled, but the bathroom was in excellent condition. Towels and linen were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was very tasty and good, consisted of a full english breakfast, with coffee/tea, cereals. toast, fruit ( vegetarians had the option of vegetarian sausages and hashbrowns ). The dull room , but that's not a major problem. |

The hotel is very well located and staff are very helpful. Our room was spacious enough to comfortable fit three adults and the hearty breakfast was a welcome finale to our stay. A minibar in the room would have been ideal! |

The location, close to town and views to the see and beaches. On a cool night the central heating did not come on until late and the room was cold. |

I would have liked our stay to have been longer than just overnight.we really enjoyed your house red wine good value for money Our bedroom had a not very fresh smell to it, and was not warm enough for me. The shower room on the other hand was a delight, bright and spotlessly clean. |

Helpfulness of staff, for example night porter made me an early breakfast as I had to leave early to catch return flight to LOndon before restaurant opened. Extract fan in bathroom was extremely noisy. |
