The staff were excellent and it was very clean and tidy and quiet. the outside of the building was very off putting but once inside it was like you were in a different hotel. |

Convenient for other major attractions in Cornwall, overlooking a beautiful beach if a little difficult to get to. |

Staff were friendly; location was good, beds were firm yet comfortable, parking was provided in a hotel really close by. I stayed in one in the centre of Bristol for £31 less for the double room a few days later: so thought it was rather over priced for a rather dated, typical seaside hotel. |

The location was excellent and the breakfasts were very nice! The majority of people staying there were elderly- as a young couple it was a little intimidating. |

The hotel was in a great location. The price was a bit expensive for this type of hotel. |

Friendly, helpfull staff, clean throughout, reasonably priced bar, lovely breakfast, good position (short walk to town centre) First Impressions! From the outside it looked very dated and in need of refurbishment but inside was really nice |

Excellent location, a short walk from the centre of Newquay. Large room overlooking the sea. Friendly staff. Free onsite parking for about 10 cars, and a public car park right behind the hotel. |

Room: the view was spectacular (second floor, seaview), and clean. The bathroom (shower) had been renovated and was ok. Breakfast was also good. Last but not least: service was excellent and hotel employees were very friendly. Based upon our experiences we would promote this hotel to a 3* rating :-) The beds were a bit uncomfortable. During the day: the cold water never became colder than 25 degrees celcius, even after waiting for several minutes. There was no safe in the room. |

The location is very good, Sea view rooms great, staff really are helpful and efficient. There is a nice little dance floor and bar, entertainment provided every night (some better than others) No daytime facilities other than Tea/coffee. The bar is not open till night. |

Location of the Hotel and the bed is very confortable. When booking I had no feed back concerning details of my preferences, and when I called them after a while they were not helpfull. Finally, when I arrived still didn't solve them: seaside view and breakfast before opening time. |

The times that we were out of it................it was too stuffy with no fresh air.The breakfast was good. It was poor.................the beds and pillows were like concrete, I asked for a fan but had no response. The evening entertainment was comparable to a really bad holiday camp of the 1960's and that is being kind!!!!! |
