The setting was beautiful, view if the sea, very pleasant. The bars were very attractive.
Clean modern hotel.Fantastic rooms. Bar area and terrace were lovely. Food in bar fab. Staff friendly
nothing to complain about.
Staff at breakfast were not very good. We have stayed twice before and couldn't fault the service, this time they served breakfast in the bar area, we were told to help ourselves to cereals, when we finished, after 10 minutes I had to ask if someone would like to serve us, we hadn't even been given tea, they kept saying sorry, I said you should be more observant as you had served the table next to us, there were plenty of staff walking about, there was no excuse. I complained at reception when paying my bill, they said sorry. I am now disappointed with the hotel,
Friendly staff, excellent food and lovely room, would definately recommend.
The views over the port entrance and beach are great. The parking and Wif-Fi were very good. Size and comfort of the room were excellent.
Sunday afternoon/evening are obviously a very busy time and along with the live entertainment (finished at 7pm) meant it wasn't very relaxing for a residents to have a meal in peace. This could be a positive if you like a lively atmosphere that goes on till late.
the room was very spacious and very well decorated. The bath in the centre of the room was wonderful .
This room was designed by a robot. In the bathroom there were no places to leave your toiletries; no where in the shower to leave soap or shampoo and the shower tray was a serious slipping hazard. ( a rubber mat however was provided ) Also the H & C water tap over the sink was so high that it splash all over the place .
free wi fi, free carpark, and lovely sea view
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very relaxing, room modern, staff helpful, food amazing!! Gorleston Seafront is lovely! Definitley recommend the hotel if wanting to stay in the area! 10mins from Yarmouth!
Had to change my order 3 times in the Mitchell's restaurant due to them running out of certain dishes! Food was amazing though!!
Food and cocktails were very good with plenty of choice.
On arrival there was no car parking available. Wanted a nice quite drink but was surrounded by volume of noise coming from the main bar. The other bar was shut. Could not get a seat on decking area due to i believe would have been non residents. Monday morning was awaken by the sound of jet washing of furniture before 7 o`clock !! i could go on but 200 character minimum is not enough will never go there again it was awfull experience.
Nice room, very comfortable. Food was good and portions were also good.
View from room was not good at all. Service at breakfast was slow. Bar and terrace were very noisy until quite late.
Good location , lovely room, very clean
The bar was nice but far to loud !!!
Our room had a terrible view
It is well worth the extra for a sea view room - fantastic. The bar area and outside seating area are lovely; again, great views, and really good food. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere.
If I am really picky, the non-cooked (ie continental style) breakfast was weak, especially in comparison with the cooked. A wider choice of breads, rolls and pastries would help.
quality of the food was good
Food in Mitchell's restaurant, large room with great view at a good price. Great choice of breakfast menu. Clean, comfortable. Luxury feel. So close to cliff walk and seaside. Wonderful terrace outside. Play area for children. Lovely sitting room. Lovely toiletries. room
Clean room. Good breakfast.
I was in a room above the kitchen. At six in the morning the radio in the kitchen went on. The bin lids outside banged when shut. No consideration whatsoever. Thete was noise from kitchen staff in the evening also until around eleven. Expensive room for the noise. I was given another room for the next night, but i think there should have been a deduction for the first room.
Comfortable bed Location
No tissues in box Not very welcoming,
The view was amazing The room was very comfortable, plenty of towels and very clean, not very generous with the biscuits on the tray and 2nd morning had no milk, but good that they offer more bottles of water whenever. Food fantastic.
Very busy, we stayed Fri and Sat nights, assume these are the busiest times. Had to wait quite a while for our meals because it was so busy with venues and young guests that I don't think were staying there, who were out on the conservatory decking until quite late being allowed to shout and make lots of noise which kept us awake. Apart from that the hotel is lovely, beach fantastic.
super conservatory where you can sit and eat and drink even when it is raining with a retractable roof. food excellent.
leaving to come home
we had sea view so was a lovely room, lovely decorations and very comfortable bed.
the only thing that we had wrong was evening meal the chicken for all 4 dinners was not very nice. but was offered a choice of another dinner. and have popped into restaurant many times and food is execellent
The atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed but professional, staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Mygrandson loved his 1st hotel experience. So near the beach, definitely returning. Thanks to Daryn, the Manager
Staff always attentive and welcoming, food in resturant as good as anywhere and service fine.
Great decor in room but not great view from window of brick wall and ancillary equipment, stayed in room 107!
The staff and the room were all excellent, We had a baby with us who had plenty of room plus a very good travel cot for him. Breakfast was tasty and the meal we had in the evening was first class. Hope to stay again soon.
£220 for two nights was pricey but as usual you get what you pay for and this was one of the best places to stay in Gorlesdon. Would have appreciated a fridge. There is no Gym, pool or entertainment facilities which would make this 5 star.
The Food is fantastic most of the staff are very professional but friendly and will do anything for you nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are lovely
The receptionist when we arrived was not very friendly.
