Staff very nice
A little to far from centre but public tranport okay
Very helpful ladies on reception both on arrival and departure. Very good breakfast prepared to order.Given the location room was quiet.
Bed was a bit hard and covers somewhat flimsy, everything a little threadbare.

Location a bit out of centre
Spacious room Comfortable bed and good breakfast Excellent service, helpful staff
Everything was good, wifi sometimes weak-out of service but not for long
Proximity to restaurants, bars excellent. Good selection of small independent shops in the neighbourhood. Breakfast excellent. Good access to other attractions via subway and buses.
The staff and breakfast were great. "Heres your keys make yourself at home and we are here if you need anything"They allowed early book in with no fuss .We couldn't have afforded another hotel there:£180 for double room in neighbouring hotel! We got a family room.Security was good but easy access.Central heating was good and the windows opened so it wasn't stifling.£5reserved parking
Whole place needs a make over as the best is not made of this lovely victorian building..but then the prices would escalate.Chairs carpets and bath/shower though clean and fit for use may have been there since 1980.Stairs steep for those with bad knees.
before my booking I've read everywhere something like: friendly staff. FRIENDLY STAFF??? the place is nice, the location great, but the owner of the hotel is so so so rude. why someone has to be so rude with two girls? i dont understand. also.... breakfast was aweful addio.
Spoke to the owner for quite a while before breakfast , he was very informative and chatted about an upcoming family wedding . He was a nice genuine man and we enjoyed his company . We have used this hotel many times over the last 5 years and always have a great nights sleep .
Having to leave .
The location is great and its a lovely old period building. I was comfortable enough for the stay.
I made several changes to my booking on here but I was given a hard time about doing this at check-in. I made a refundable reservation with flexibility in mind. The hotel made it clear it didn't like changes, so they shouldn't take refundable bookings, they can't have it both ways.
open the window to take a fresh air
Great location, great room, loads of space and spotless The breakfast was fab too Good value for money
100 yards from the underground, lots of small shops and cafes.staff friendly and helpful.
Location was good for us as were going to a gig at Oran Mhor. Staff were veryfriendly, breakfast was good value and quick service. Can't fault for value for money and location. Would stay here again just for that reason
Our room was very warm and had to open window. Traffic was busy and noisy all night. Room was a little bit tired and worn.
Furnishing is really nice
There are some problems with cleaning: we were 4 in the room and got 3 towels, the bathroom is dirty, the quality of the bath is poor. At breakfast the staff is rude (or can't speak English).
Room prepared at short notice to allow earlier check-in.
Heating on in summer.
nice breakfast varieties , friendly staff , great location .
I was alone, but offered a big double room (although I did book a double room as that was the one available and also cheap), spacious, nice and neat. Bathroom good. Convenient to my place of visit and good bus connection.
1. The bed lamps by bedside were not working. 2. Internet not working, wifi 3. The sugar sachets in the coffee tray was old and not usable. It changed the taste of coffee/tea when used.
Paying £5 for parking.
i had a huge room, and the staff were very friendly at ll stages.
the shower lacked some pressure, but the water was warm enough.
Nada, el peor sitio donde he estado. Nothing. The worst place I've been.
Nada. El peor sitio donde he estado. Nos dieron una habitación enana en el subsuelo, oscura, con olor a curry, con muebles viejos y muy pequeña. Horroroso. No es que me importe, pero añado que nadie del personal hablaba español. They gave us a tiny room in the basement, dark, smelling of curry, with old furniture and very small. Not that I mind, but add that none of the staff spoke Spanish.
hotel's proximity to services, stations and shops/pubs etc. Also, helpfulness f staff and peacefulness despite nearby main road.
I liked location. Room size and comfort.
Outdated toilet dark interior had to wait for breakfast
The Wifi was not working. The room was not so clean. The breakfast is quite poor.
