Score from 491 reviews Very good
An elegant and beautifully preserved Victorian building, with ornamental ceilings and tasteful Eastern ornaments, in the leafy outskirts of Maidenhead, just off the A4, 5 minutes from Maidenhead town...

Score from 225 reviews Good
No serious problems and the breakfast included is a welcome touch.
The rooms are freezing. Every time I visited I was in a different room and they are all cold. Really cold and the heating seems to be centrally controlled. Good if you are a penguin but not so good otherwise.
Location Comfortable bed Breakfast good value Somewhere to put your head down
Filthy mould-encrusted chair next to my bed Stains on the beds Pungent smell of curry on entry Pretty cramped - ok for a night stay no longer
Breakfast lovely Room very clean
My wife thought the Mattress needed to be softer.I was fine with a firm Mattress. We both enjoyed the hospitality of the Couple who run it and look forward to using them again Next Year for our Granddaughters Birthday
Grumpiness of proprietor that made me feel unwelcome Levels of cleanliness in bathroom and around bedroom were below standard expected Decor looked tired all round and needed a good refresh in terms of finish
We had to arrive very late but suitable arrangements were made and worked perfectly.
No hot chocolate in the room.
It is clean, and tidy. Even the shared bathroom was very clean. I got a very good price for the area. The location is quite central.
Having a shared bathroom outside of the room is just something SO unpratical. The room I stayed in was VERY small, almost cubicle like. The street has a lot of traffic and is very noisy, but I presume that's something you'd expect to get for being so central.
The attitude of the owner/person in charge - without booking.com's help I would have had to pay for a night I could not use - it was impossible to arrive there for 10pm at which point I was told the door would be locked and I would have to pay. The curtain was tacked to the wall and the whole place was a shamble.
It is not a manned B&B and the owner told me off for checking in late than I had pre agreed with him. Also the kettle didn't work but nobody there to report it to. The carpet was dirty and the decor very dated
Location, late check in was really good. Economy room, great value
Went to breakfast at 6.20, All set out with glasses of orange juice, jugs and milk on tables, etc.,. Asked if I could have a bowl of cereals and was bluntly refused as it was not open until 7.00. handed key and left. No WiFi info. Although was free
A bit dusty. Carpet dirty.
The host and hostess were very nice
Communal bathroom and toilet for the price
Staff helpfulness Wi-fi Coffee making facilities!. parking Breakfast value
Comfortable accommodation, reasonable breakfast and regular change of sheets and towels.
Internet spotty at times and floor could do with new carpeting.
-breakfast pretty good
Close to the town centre and local areas. e.g. National Trust and Windsor. Breakfast good. Car Parking
Stained carpets in the bedroom
Very friendly and welcoming
The staff member (throughout my stay I only encountered a man) was incredibly rude. Even when he answered the door to me he had such a bad attitude which never left. It was as if he did not like his job and took that out on the people he was 'serving'. He was incredibly rude and arrogant and ruined my stay. The bed was hard, room not as 'spick and span' as I would have liked and the breakfast mediocre. I would not stay here again and I suggest you shop around before opting to stay here.
Ideally located for the town centre, railway station, very close to Windsor & Henley.
Breakfast finishing at 9am on a Sunday.
1) Shower was dirty and shower head leaked. 2) Internet connection was unreliable when working.
Bedroom and breakfast room clean.
Single room was another room boarded up in half. Shared tiny bathroom which would have stopped me booking
Easy access. location Is good.
I asked the owner for an iron at 10 pm and he told me to go away n that he's sleeping. Light in the shower wasn't working. Can't get wifi in the rooms. Only in the hallways.
Absolutely nothing. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Smell of curry. Room not cleaned and bed not made because chambermaid was ill. Some light bulbs not working. Paid for three nights but checked out after two. Couldn't wait to leave
provided a real single room at single room price
Good location for London Heathrow Very helpful staff. Gave good directions to Heathrow by car and good directions to centre of town and how to find places to eat, etc. Convenient spot for easy access to town centre and restaurants
One of us could have used help getting suitcase up stairs to room
Location Within easy walking distance of the railway station and restaurants. Does the entry on Booking, com reflect this? Good freshly served breakfast
Fine for one nght but basic. Lacks a welcoming atmosphere
