Everything except location the guest house , room , food were awful . But they weren't anywhere nearly as bad as the owner . This man was very rude and unwelcoming . I think he should seriously consider going into a business where he has no contact with the general public!! I would strongly advise anybody who is considering staying in the Clifton not to

Clean. Friendly. Close to the conference. Spacious room. On a main road. However, the double glazing dimmed most of the noise. The en suite was a compact but functional.

Location was good for me, room was cleaned each day. I thought the price of the economy room was too high and the shared bathroom wasn't as clean. The breakfast was pretty simple but ok. The staff were a bit stand-offish and not overly friendly.

The water in the rooms wasn't drinkable, the staff wasn't friendly and for a B&N I thought it was not very cozy or welcoming.

Location ideal for what we needed. Short walk to Maidenhead town centre & good base for Legoland. There is no lounge area & owner wouldn't unlock the dining area to sit in so difficult once little one went to bed.

We both found our overnight stay at really good value, the owner of the hotel was both welcoming and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable for a short stay. The location was ideal for access to the town and nightlife.

The reception was OK. The breakfast had options and was well cooked The room was small and cramped. I kept catching my knee on the bedpost. The toilet and shower unit was very small and you needed to be a contortionist to use the loo. The shower and wash basin were old and stained. (looked as though it came out of a caravan) The floor was wood with no carpets so it was cold.

Relatively cheap. Host introduced me to other guests participating to the same training course. Good bed. The room was small, with an extreme small bathroom (my home shower is as big as the entire bathroom at Clifton Guest house). On top of this there was a smell and a very irritating noise when putting on the lights in the bathroom. Wifi : not functioning well - regularly disconnected or no access

Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Only chose hotel as it was cheap but would definitely stay here again if on another business trip. Value for money. Toilet and shower separate from room, didn't bother me. Not sure if there was WiFi.
