Elegant. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money. Appreciate parking provided.
Absence of lift to second floor. Two broken light bulbs. Will request a lower floor next time.
Good breakfast. Free parking
Small room No lift.
Lovely staff great breakfast nice powerful shower tea and coffee making facilities in room right in the centre of town
Everything really, excellent reception and breakfast staff, excellent breakfast choice, comfortable, nice classy touches throughout the house, free parking. Have stayed before and will stay again.
Nothing, all good!
The location was ok.
The breakfast room
Staff were very friendly and helpful Clifton house was very nicely decorated breakfast was great I wild range of things to have
The room was slightly smaller than I expected that was my only complaint
Very good location - we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. In addition there are good buses that bring you back to Clifton. Everyone was very friendly.
Our room was cold to begin with as the radiators were tepid. However this was soon remedied.
Secure parking excellent breakfasts very pleasant staff
Cold at night
the house is very nice
the room was very very small and the bathroom too
Rooms were very clean, very comfortable, and we liked the free WiFi. Breakfast was very well made, and the little detail of having the quiet ambient noise of the TV at breakfast eliminated that extreme silence that sometimes makes one self conscience about speaking when everyone else can hear you.
Floors were a bit creaky which made it easy to wake other guests up when we came in late at night, but it is an old building, so it is not a surprise.
Great Location, about 5/10 minute walk in to centre, breakfast was amazing! and the room was perfect! :) would stay again!
Staff were very friendly, the location was very good for us
The room was very cold and we had to wait for a couple of hours the timer to kick in. There was some rubbish under our bed, and the walls were paper thin, so we could hear our neighbour on the phone most of the afternoon, which was very annoying. I could've forgiven all this if we weren't paying £75 for one night.
Attractive historic property with high standard of furnishing, friendly welcome and excellent choice of breakfast in light and attractive room. We enjoyed our stay - a very comfortable night and not far from good restaurants and the University.
Wi fi seemed a little slow - a minor point
excellent clifton location. super parking facility. staff met all very nice. quiet clean and comfy room.
We chose this hotel as we saw good reviews about it and wanted to be near Bristol Children's Hospital, it was perfect for what we wanted. On-site parking, good breakfast, wifi was very quick. A short walk to Clifton village and not very far from Bristol centre. Good value for money and would stay here again for a night.
We were in Room 8 and the walls are not very soundproof as you could hear the person next door putting a plug in and out of the socket!
Breakfast was plentiful and tasted good. Great location in pleasant area. Decoration and interior well done, lovely, bright building. Room was comfortable.
Toilet was quite noisy and on using hot tap, maybe a saniflo or similar, although couldn't hear the noise from other rooms. Bed was too small for the two of us which disrupted our sleep although mattress comfy.
Facilities Welcoming corrider Staff Friendliness
Room was a little smaller than I thought it would be
Staff were very friendly. Room was great Comfy bed very tasty breakfast Would come back again for certain.
The bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was very small - barely any space around a double bed. The room was lukewarm even with the heating on full - the window was single glazed and therefore you could feel a draft. The bathroom was average at best - small and cramped without a heated towel rail. We had to have our breakfast in the "spillover" breakfast room, which was on the basement floor. The room was very cold and the window has caging on it, making it feel a bit dungeon-like!
Great place to stay would definately recommend and would visit again. Really lovely tasteful room, the shower was amazing! Great tasty breakfast served til a good time. I was really pleased with how accommodating the staff where by letting us check in much later than advertised and letting us leave our bags after we had checked out. Perfect stay for a couple or girly weekend.
Ideal location for exploring Bristol on foot. Comfortable room, efficient friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. Added bonus of free on site parking.
Everything, friendly staff, breakfast, clean, Cannot fault anything at all.
