Overlooking Millennium Square, Ibis Bristol Centre is in Bristol’s vibrant Harborside area. The modern hotel has a 24-hour front desk, a stylish bar and cafe restaurant.
Score from 1513 reviews Very good
Independently owned and run, the Best Western Victoria Square is set on a leafy Georgian square in fashionable Clifton.

Set above Avon Gorge, this hotel overlooks Brunel's famous suspension bridge. It has free parking and a large terrace for al fresco dining with excellent views.
Score from 681 reviews Very good
Clifton is a vibrant area with plenty to see and do, the suspension bridge, harbour etc. loads of places to eat too. Helpful staff and free map! Free parking a big plus and a nice breakfast.
Room a bit on the small side and vent in ceiling above shower very grubby.
Great shower room V comfortable bed Ease of booking and check in
Would prefer net or blind on window as overlooked parking area Advice on where to park when car park full- i artived when full - found space in the road but wasn't entirely sure I wiuldn't find a parking ticket
Great location close to restaurants, lovely place to stay.
The car park was very tight to navigate and not many parks available.
Very clean and comfortable; friendly staff, delicious breakfast, good location, parking space, and reasonably good price.
Kettle in the room. Couldn't use it as it has rust at the bottom.
Nice building, free parking, friendly welcome, good breakfast.
Bedroom too small for a double bed and a single! Unfortunately, heating is turned on only from 6.00pm. If you plan to arrive earlier and work in your bedroom, it is not comfortable, especially in a North facing bedroom (No double glazing, of course).
Quiet, yet close to city centre. Parking on site. comfortable room, excellent breakfast, helpful staff
Room on the small size. Water pressure down to a trickle at one stage on upper floor. Service a bit slow at breakfast.
Good central location, a short walk from the train and plenty of stores. The room was small (it was a single) but modern and very comfortable, with big windows and an updated en suite. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel has lovely decor and the neighborhood is nice.
Parking is available and breakfast was good (but the waiting time frustrated some people)
Small room. A. Difficult place to find.
Great location with plenty of off street parking
Early breakfast finishing time for a weekend.
Room was massive, staff lovely, location great, breakfast lovely (could have done with more fresh coffee a bit more frequently but a minor issue!)
We've stayed here a few times, it is clean, with large rooms, quiet, and close to Clifton. There is parking and although it is on a first come first served basis it is still a bonus in this area of Bristol.
To be fair on the hotel all the guests came for breakfast at the same time so they struggled to cope. We did feel they could have managed the rush better though if the breakfast staff were more organised. After waiting 30 minutes for our breakfast we were worries we'd be late for our meeting, we enquired about how long we still had to wait and were told my partners breakfast of two boiled eggs was what was causing the delay. That seemed a bit odd as boiled eggs take 4 minutes. Never the less 10 minutes late the eggs came out, but when my partner cracked them open they were raw!! If he wasn't so hungry it would have been quite funny. He asked for the breakfast to be taken off our bill but they refused which was a bit off, however I'll give the hotel the benefit of the doubt and say they were must have just been having a one off Faulty Towers moment.
The beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were good
Old Victorian house with a lot of interior character. Very quiet room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location in Bristol. On site car park.
Very small room (but comfortable, and in keeping with the character of the place). Early checkout (but staff were happy to hold my luggage until I returned to pick it up).
The location, the staff delicious breakfast !!!
Top floor room was rather on the small side. Was fine for one night but would not suit us for longer stays. Would definitely go back!!!
Friendly and helpful staff, great location, free parking, clean room (shower frame could do with a proper clean, but the rest was spotless)
Tiny room, below average breakfast, noisy road but too warm to have windows closed so not much sleep!
good location, staff excellent and very helpful.
a bit noisy as we are on the ground floor next to reception at night as we do like the windows open when sleeping.
The bedroom was a good size, light and airy. Good breakfast, too.
Pity the shower room was rather small and the doors of the shower cubicle didn't close properly
Good value, ideal location. Plus Parking facilities.
My husband and I had booked a superior double room for £180 for two nights. Upon arrival the woman at the front desk matter-of-factly told me that the double room we had booked was unavailable and so we were given a triple room for £30 off our booking. I wasn't 100% content with this, but after a long drive I was tired so I went to my room (which was hardly the romantic room I'd booked!) and waited for my husband to arrive. In the morning we spoke to them about changing our room to the one we'd booked and they told us it would be £95 for the night! We showed them our booking which clearly had the room advertised at £90 a night and they tried to tell us is was an error on the website! We argued that this was not our problem, we clearly had confirmation of the room booked at £90 and finally they begrudgingly honoured the reduced price. They insisted however that we pay for the triple room we'd stayed in the night previous at the full fee of the room! No reduced price for our troubles after all! I found the "You get what your given" attitude of the whole thing appalling! On top of all this, the one morning we chanced breakfast my husband and I both asked for fried eggs well done. When the eggs came out they were very runny. I asked them if they would please fry the eggs on the other side and instead of just saying "no worries, be back in two minutes" they instead retorted "Well did you ask for them well done?!" I was shocked! Lastly, whilst waiting for our eggs to be cooked properly a young couple came down the stairs at four minutes past nine. Breakfast finished at 9am. She was on crutches and clearly struggling with the stairs, but rather than any kind of understanding or leniency the head woman came over and rather curtly told the couple they could only have a continental breakfast because they were "too late." Four minutes for heaven's sake! 10 minutes later my cooked breakfast arrives.
Car parking, clean room, good clean linen and towels
Room far to small to be classed as superior accommodation, 1 double, 1 single bed, crampt . Hot water tap in wash basin ran out of water, staff not concerned, no apology, impression regular occurrence. Breakfast cereals uncovered large serving bowls, other guests spotted using hands rather than serving spoons, cereals, spreads jam etc. Inferior quality.
Room was absolutely spotless and decorated to a very high standard. Nice breakfast.
As a single business traveller room service and TV was all I wanted, the limited menu was a little too bistro style and quite pricey. A couple of simple supper options would be good. But there is a high street round the corner with all the favourite chains etc.
Lovely room - good facilities and spotlessly clean Fantastic period property - tastefully re-furbed and modernised Fantastic breakfast
Walls are paper thin - unfortunately, I had to endure listening to someone snore, loudly, all night long! Some street noise down below in the small hours owing to the proximity of the property to Whiteladies Road.
cleanliness, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, friendly staff.
