Nice hotel, decor a bit dated but everywhere very clean. Caters for the older client very well but fine too for younger people. My only negative was the breakfast which could have had some healthier options. Would have been good to have some yoghurts and fresh fruit, some granary bread and a wider choice of cereals, only 3 basic cereals provided along with tinned prunes and grapefruit and cooked items. Wi fi is only available in the reception area but good seating provided here in a relaxing surrounding. The gym and pool are small but very quiet and the jacuzzi was lovely! Breakfast.

The hotel was full of geriatric holiday makers, we arrived on November 2nd and the hotel was completeley decorated for christmas playing loud christmas carols through the hotel sound system. The hotel has christmas holidays for pensioners. We had to queu to get breakfast each day as the pensioners were lined up at the doors it was like a stampede. We honestly thought it was a hotel for terminally ill geriatrics.

Hotel reception and dining area were lovely. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Our room was rather small and our ensuite was barely big enough to turn around in! The ensuite could also do with updating.

The hotel was very clean with a lovely pool area, easy walking to shops/food/bars/beach. On our first morning the hotel was full and the staff struggled to keep up with demand for cooked food buffet so not all hot food was available at the same time.

Having a sudden back problem on arrival, we were allowed to stay for extra days until well enough to drive home and were extremely well looked after in every respect. We will most certainly visit again.

My wife and I just decided we required a short break to relax 1st time we had stopped in Lytham st Annes. We found the Clifton Park Hotel a gem, loved it. We have only been back home a few days and have booked to stay there again. The few faults we found are to minor to mention.Would recommend this hotel to anyone away from the bustle of Blackpool but near enough to get to the centre very easily by bus or car.

We had a very comfortable stay in an executive suite which was at the back of the building on the top floor, the bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of drawers and hanging space The shower in our room needed modernizing and the carpet could do with replacing, the downstairs of the hotel miss-guided you to how the rooms were going to be.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent quality and very ample in quantity. The only thing we were disappointed in was the size of the room it was a little on the small size and it was so warm. We had to ask for a fan. When we go again (which we will do) we will ask for a bigger room or maybe a suite. But this small matter did not mar the break one bit.

The staff were excellent ; very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. I ordered kippers and porridge and also used the healthy buffet. My wife had a full English breakfast. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were open long hours and were seldom very busy. They are in a classic Roman style, in sparklingly clean and comfortable surroundings. There was some classy entertainment on Saturday night, although unfortunately we had to go out for an engagement. The entertainment stopped at about 10.30 pm and the bar stayed open until 11.00 pm. Our particular room had been a bit warm during the first night, the reason for which was not obvious. The window was openable. We were supplied with an effective fan for our second night. It has to be said that the daytime temperatures had been relatively high.

Very friendly and efficient staff, a lovely big room in a beautiful hotel. Swimming pool was nice and warm, and the gardens are gorgeous. Ideal for the older traveler. Very small car park. Also they didn't have the fish & chips that I wanted for room service, and there were no chips with my club sandwich as advertised. It wasn't the end of the world though!

Nice location near enough to walk to local bars and restaurants, comfortable room and lovely little swimming pool and jacuzzi. there is a nice function room but it seems to get taken over by ballroom dancers at the weekends...
