Comfortable room.

Access to the room was not easy, at the back of the hotel and very difficult access for anyone with a disability (i.e. A final 15 step staircase up to the room.) This did not seem to have been pointed out on the web-site.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I felt very comfortable during my 4 day business break. My room was very clean, with excellent facilities. I enjoyed the breakfast with many options available. The staff was very kind and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

cobwebs in room, biscuits on one day only none next day! not being informed of evening dinner offer so lost upsell opportunity for hotel

we loved how well run the hotel was, and the old fashioned charm

we did feel that some of the guests almost had "reserved" seats in the loung but this didnt spoil our enjoyment of the hotel

The hotel itself was well kept, clean, smart and the breakfast was nice. The garden out the back (and swimming pool / jaccuzi) both being completely free of other guests during my visit gave me some lovely peaceful time to relax.

The single room I stayed in (101 I think) was a little bit dated, but clean, and I suppose for the money I paid (£40) not bad at all, especially considering buffet style cereal & hot Breakfast was included.

We had a very enjoyable stay, and will be going back again.

We liked the facilities and spaceness of Clifton Park Hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

Parking was nightmare, got blocked in and had to get reception to phone around for other person to move their car. Maybe they could serve yogurts at breakfast to have with muesli?

Only on site very briefly, but staff were attentive at breakfast and a relaxing atmosphere

Clean, tidy, comfortable, good breakfast. Lovely pool and could use the gym equipment when ever we liked. No children,sorry but we are an older couple and liked the quiet. Ideal for the shops and the beach.

The bathroom door. It was a sliding door and did not fit flush to bathroom, so a slight gap each side. There was no extractor fan in bathroom either. I find this very unhygenic and I felt I had no privacy. As we only stayed one night it was ok but would have asked if there was another room, if we had been staying longer.

Helpful staff, rooms nice and clean.

Some kind of privacy when opening curtains - a major thoroughfare so had to get ready with curtains shut! I half net or similar would have been fine. Small niggle though.

rooms too small bathroom tiny could not bend down without banging head on radiator or wash basin shower lacked any water pressure

this is the third time we have used clifton park love the spa and swimming pool and every thing is spotless clifton park is in an ideal spot for st annes easy walking distance

Food was excellent - especially the kippers in the morning !! Room was a good size and had been well decorated.

The swimming pool

The room was far too small. The door couldn't open properly due to the position and size of the bed. The room had poor views,was quite a walk from reception and did not resemble the typical pictures on the website.

The Pool and the Jacuzzi were very good.The breakfast was excellent and the position is good.

The room we were allocated was the smallest Room and Bathroom I have ever seen. The sink was about 12inches from the door and it was difficult to sit on the Toilet because it was so close to the Sink. Nice Hotel, shame about the Room.
