Friendly atmosphere

Very friendly and accommadating. Great full english breakfast

The owner was really helpful and friendly and the hotel was close to all amenities we really enjoyed staying there.

Incredibly helpful owners - I somehow managed to book the wrong day and they were still able to accommodate us!

Great Location, Great food and friendly staff, would definately go back.

The location was great near to the centre of town, nice compact rooms with en-suite, great little bar with retro arcade machines and fantastic breakfast both mornings. All delivered by friendly and welcoming staff.

As other writeups our room was a little small but had everything we needed, a small problem with the carparking, but this was sorted out very quickly with no fuss

Nice people, clean bright rooms good breakfast, excellent value for money. Hotel well positioned being close to the tower and sea front yet far enough away to be quiet at night. We stayed at the end of October in four rooms all had good size beds for the adults and children, we were a mix of adults and younger children and were well looked after with nothing being to much trouble for the staff. en suit was a bit on the small side but think what you are paying, you can get a nice big bathroom up the road if you want to pay four times the price!! we would stay again.

Lovely hotel, very central to all that Blackpool has to offer,excellent breakfast and great service,Nick and Tracey are a lovely couple and can offer advice on places to eat etc,friendly bar with large tv and gaming tables that our son loved and only cost 20p a go.Would recommend to others and stay here again myself

Stayed at Clifton for 2 nights in a double room. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Owner's were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel was perfect for our visit in blackpool, great location, breakfast was really good with a great choice, rooms were clean quiet small but totally adequate for a family of 4. Nick made us feel really welcome and nothing was to much trouble for him. Location was about 10 mins from beach and blackpool tower and central pier so very good. Would definately book here again. The hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff. Decent breakfast and a nice bar. Great location too. Easy walk to centre but far enough away to be quiet although noisy delivery vans early in the morning at the rear.

Paying for parking when there are loads of spaces right across road outside closed down shops. The room we were in was tiny albeit it is a small hotel. Price you pay for adding en suite into already small rooms.

The bed was uncomfortable, we didn't sleep,hence the low mark on 'Comfort'. The room had very little natural light as it was hemmed in, making it a small, dull space if you wanted to rest in your room.

We were looking for a Hotel to stay at and searching on the internet is a bit difficult as you don't know for certain what the Hotel is going to be like. We are really pleased that we chose the Clifton Hotel. The owners of the Clifton Hotel are fantastic people, really friendly and make you feel at home, from the start of your holiday to the end. Also the rooms are really clean and fresh towels every day was a bonus. Breakfast was a must .......gawgous and the girls who served you were really lovely and very pleasant nothing was a problem. I would recomend this hotel 100% we will definately be staying there again.

There is nothing we did'nt like.

The owners were very hospitable,short stroll to the beach,parking available.

the staff was polite the room could have been a little bigger nice location near all the sites not far from beach clean enjoyed the breakfast

being kept awake all night by drunks in the next hotel and no one went to shut them up the bathroom was a bit small so no good if your on the large size and unless we were given a small double the bedroom was a bit small .

Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. But the bedroom we were given for a family of four was quite small !

On entering the Clifton Private Hotel we were greeted by the proprieter who was warm and friendly. The hotel is family run and everyone of them were friendly and accommodating. The room was small but ample for what what we needed and was kept in a clean condition with a good state of repair. I have stayed in small privately run hotels and B&B's before that were not as good as the Clifton. Blackpool has spent millions of pounds in upgrading facilities and improving the general appearance of the town which definately improves its looks without losing its appeal. In terms of location it was situated less than 200 yards from Blackpool Tower and the main amusement arcades. We are already planning our next trip to Blackpool and will be staying here again.

The only downside was that we could not get wifi in our room and tv was freeview but for how long we were in the room it was not a problem.

Ideal location,friendly staff,clean and great breakfast,will be booking again,10/10.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly and approachable couple, Tracey and Nick. They were extremely accomodating and catered for any need we requested. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast outstanding. The other guests who stayed there were very friendly and it was obvious it was a family orientated business and considerate to families with young children. I would highly recommend the Clifton and look forward to a speedy return. Thank you very much for a great holiday.Amanda, Cliff, William and Naomi.
