Look brilliant and look big hotel but we dissppointment for downstairs for bar, game, etc is closed, bit sad. We are enjoyed that hotel and nice breakfast also very good service for good clean everything.we are happy with got lift. We love look veiw at seaside area.

We were given a warm and friendly welcome from the proprietor upon arrival. The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Good value for money. Not a big issue, but the decor was a little bit old fashioned for our tastes (we're in our mid 40s).

The welcome from the proprietor. I had requested a first floor room because I suffer from osteoarthritis and she had reserved two rooms for me to chose from, whichever suited me best. I think that was very considerate. The musky smell oftenassociated with buildings of this age. Our room although a sea v iew was cramped and badly planned. A move of furniture would have a better effect.

Pleasant welcome from staff. Comfy quiet room. Good breakfast. Car park at rear hard to find, only for 3 vehicles and no access thro hotel. No parking at front because of next to traffic junction and skip. Time for breakfast on sunday early and limited.

Only 3 choices of cereal + orange juice + tea or coffee + toast (white bread only given) then full English breakfast without even ordering it. I may have just wanted beans or scrambled egg on toast instead.

Very comfortable and clean. Location and sea view excellent. Staff couldn't do enough to help in a very friendly way. We thought the breakfasts were very good but could have been hotter when served.

Right on the seafront, good price (£65 including full english breakfast), friendly welcome. We had a room with a sea view which was a bonus. We also booked because it was just a few minutes' walk away from The Platform, where we had booked to see a jazz concert. We would happily stay there again. Stairs are a bit steep and narrow but we used the lift. There is a car park at the back of the hotel but someone had parked across the entrance blocking access (not the fault of the hotel owner), however we did manage to find a free space on the road nearby. Mr Kim was very helpful and friendly.

I love The Clifton due to its atmosphere, mainly due to the Lovely Lydia's happy way, always smiling and making you feel at home! I like that its near to Heysham Village so a lovely walk down the prom..... I see there is dated furniture but to me the ambiance makes up for that and we are in difficult financial times....

Cleanliness and friendly, obliging staff. Lovely view over Morecambe Bay from bedroom, dining and sitiing rooms. Quiet. Good value for money. We were on the top floor and there was a step near the top that was very narrow. We needed to place our feet carefully at that point. The rest of the stairs, that we used, were reasonably wide. There is a small lift so this would not necessarily be a problem for older people.

The owner was very pleasant and engaging and we enjoyed the full english breakfast in the dining room, which has views across the bay towards the mountains. No separate way of heating the room if the hotel radiators were not on. Bedding and curtains looking tired and dated, but everything was clean and tidy.

Seaview is quite nice though the low tide during my stay stole the beauty somehow. Furniture is a bit old, The life is super small and has sudden movement during start and end. basically the whole building is old. Breakfast serving time is too short, only 45 mins. it might be a problem for those we need to leave early or want to get up late. The staff didn't serve the food in the sequence of arriving, but the distance from kitchen. But the full english breakfast is quite ok. no private carpark, i had to park my car on the street

The receptionist put herself out to provide breakfast for a vegetarian and early on the 2nd day of staying. The car spaces through a small passage wa. at the back of the hotel.The rooms were rather compact and we could hear toilets flushing and the shower from the adjoining rooms.

Shower tray didnt empty fast enough, could have caused a fllod in room. Didnt have a breakfast as advised it was served from 8.15am and I had to leave at 7.15am, no offer of an early breakfast which was dissapointing.

An old fashioned B&B. Old building with decoration that belongs to the sixties. It waom comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The car park was hard to find hidden up a small alley at the back of the hotel. Ver difficult to manoever my large car into. Would be fine for samll cars.

Always a good welcome,I have stayed here twice now.Lovely veiw of the bay from the bedroom window and a good breakfast. If I have any down thing to say it is that the walls are thin between bedrooms and if you get inconsiderate neighbours who dont consider anyone else it can be a bit noisy but this is not the fault of the proprietors.
