The Breakfast was good. Bedroom bed - sagging springs. Shower frame inside covered in mould, due to lack of proper cleaning. Wash HANDbasin too small and under a shelf, so hit head when rinsing face after shaving. There is room to put a proper washbasin, not just a tiny thing.

My scoring might not a true reflection on my experience but it would be unfair to mark the hotel down because as soon as the shortcomings were brought to John's attention he took action and we are looking forward to returning in order to receive the promise of the hotels best attention. We will let you know!

There was a warm reception from the staff and it gave you a homely feeling. It was nice and warm and it was good to come and go as we pleased. We would use it again if we needed to. It would be nice to have a bigger wash basin and the wardrobe inside arranged better.

Despite being fairly very much bed and breakfast type accommodation the staff were very friendly and tried really hard to exceed your expectations. For this budget I don't think you could better the experience. Slightly disappointed at table not being set for breakfast, but really only a niggle,

John the owner makes you very welcome. A lovely, friendly man. Although the hotel itself is tired in terms of decor etc it's clean and has all you need, unless you want wifi etc. Breakfast good. I think under-priced for what's given!

The hotel personel was super nice and the room has been cleaned every day. They gave us fresh towels every day as well. The family room is huge :).We did not have any problem during our stay. Small bathroom, but good enough to take a shower.

The hotel was in ideal location near the centre and a big park where we went to play football. Room was bit tight but really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and served in friendly atmossphere. And there was a parrot! (If that's a bonus) The hotel building was bit tight on space, but that is not a big minus. The price was little high considering the quality, but I guess it's hard to be any lower than that so near the centre.

The room was tiny. The breakfast was not upto my standard. Other people didn't eat all the breakfast. I was bitten by mosquito'S.,which I mentioned to the person who took my payment. The bed had blankets, which we believe had other peoples hair still on part of it. Washing facilities were very poor. The bathroom sink was so small I couldn't put both hands in at the same time. The shower fluctuated between hot and cold. We will never go there again

My room was clean, comfortable and warm.I had plenty of tea and coffee and the room was quite a good size for a single. I found it quite difficult to unlock both the front door and my room.but the owner did warn me that they were a bit tricky,so I just kept trying.

“Fantastic value for money, very good standard for this budget price. Will return again and again for this value and service. Room great, breakast great, parking convenient. Better than many 4 star hotels I've stayed in, no exageration and I stay in them 2 or 3 times a week!! Could I be a mystery shopper for you? Seriously? I am in hotels so often all around the UK.” Wendy, Cranleigh |
