location, staff, comfort
Location of room (next to bins)
Friendly receptionist, Bowl of Fruit + Tea
Shower was broken, dated interior, waited 20 min for breakfast to arrive
Staff were fantastic
Nice and helpful staff Clean and quiet rooms Great location
the room was extremely small...i could barley get my suitcase in and out of the room...
Really? In this day and age there is no excuse for not having parking.
Nice bed Clean Free coffee, tea and fruit in the room
No free wifi You hear a lot of noise from the bar next door
too much noise at night
the welcome at the reception
the night( at 3 am then at 4 am a lot of people made a big noise in the corridor), the fact that the rooms need to be refreshed.
Staff were excellent and friendly
One room developed a smell from the bathroom overnight and the other was too loud (bar underneath window) and too hot on a cold night even with window open and fan on. We could not work out why the room was so hot- heating was not on
This is the 2nd time I stayed at the hotel. They always looking after me really well. I will always go back there.
Walls were too thin - kept awake by the guest next door snoring
Lovely friendly welcome, extremely helpful. Fresh fruit in room was a nice touch.
Only having one night to stay!
Location Free Fruit in Room
Shower pressure not the best
The building is in need of updating. Beds uncomfortable bathroom was crampt and poorly maintained.
Nice location in Clifton. Bar and restaurant very nice.
Booked an executive single room, described as spacious but was very small and rather "tired". Also no mention of parking charges until the booking was confirmed.
There was noise from the bar but I expected that
The staff were very polite and helpful. It is close enough to the town to walk and in a quiet area with plenty of parking around. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was really nice.As was the down stairs food and drinks area.
The rooms need to be updated.
We always stay here when we come to Bristol. Quite often come to watch music at the 02. Really convenient as we walk to the pubs and the 02. Always really clean and great value for money. Staff always friendly and polite and helpful. And the breakfast is always excellent. Always a great stay. Love it.
Lovely staff, bright and welcoming lobby, relatively comfortable bed, high ceilings, nice little tea/coffee tray, huge fluffy towels.
Tiny bathroom (no bath, only shower), shabby and battered interior at odds with the modern exterior, narrow window, room described as "spacious" but that was only vertically!
Staff very kind and professional.
The shower a little tight ...
-Kettle and tea/coffee in the room - towels changed daily
- If you are walking from the Bristol Temple Meads rail station, be prepared for a long way up - poor quality to price ratio - not a really good looking bathroom (I used to have better en suite room for half the price!) -the smell in the room was not pleasant and I had window opening onto a bar... (also pretty loud in the evening) -rooms are small (for a twin room there is hardly a place to move) - THERE IS NO FREE WIFI
Cleanliness. Toilet seat offset ... Really? How does that happen? Not properly cleaned after being moved to correct position. Being woken up at 6am every morning by a dustcart stopping outside directly below my window. Light bulb not replaced dispite asking for this daily.
Extra charges for everything including wifi access. Bathrooms very small. The whole place could do with a lick of paint and new carpets
