We had a very enjoyable three night stay at the Cliffs, the food was very good and the dining room staff were really pleasant , helpful . and eager to please. The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were wonderful and spotlessly clean.We would most certainly stay there again and again and again. The only fault was the bar prices .

The attention we received when we asked for a different room. We were sorted out without any fuss. We found the food excellent, a varied menu with polite staff. The food was the best we have ever tasted, there wasn't long to wait between courses in fact we were amazed at how prompt the service was. A very pleasant stay and we will be booking again in the near future. We also were pleased with the location, the bus and tram stops were directly outside the hotel making it an ideal place to stay.

Rooms tiny, bathrooms very very very small ! Food second rate. Although the staff were freindly and helpful, this hotel is dated, and I would only rate it as a large b&b, not a hotel. I booked for a two night stay, and was so disapointed with the hotel, that I booked out after the first night.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was very good and always hot, which is essential. The restaurant staff were quick and pleasant and the food served promptly. The entertainment was sometimes very good and sometimes poor, but overall enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be returning.

It was a warm and comfortable Hotel and the food and staff where very very helpfull no matter what you asked of them I have been to the Cliffs Hotel on my own and with my wife and anythime we can get time away its always 1st on the list .................. Thank You to all there

The comedian was good on Saturday night. Bar meals were inedible. Fish was grey, chilli was tasteless salad was not fresh, Would recommend manager sits down and actually tastes these meals. They are shocking. Did not risk eating in hotel at night after this meal. Room was like a cupboard at the back of the Hotel. Door to toilet was only five foot tall, had a sign saying mind the step, while your are watchimg for a step you whack your head as you go through the door.

Food was excellent. Staff / waitresses / Service excellent. Kids zone was good as was the liesure and entertainment. Room was a bit on the small side but comfy, clean and quiet at night.

I loved the pool, jacuzzi and gym. my 8year old daugher really enjoyed the kids basement which was open till 10pm everynight and staff did different activities with the kids. excellent value for money

As my husband and i had our mums with us who are both in their 80's we thought the hotel facilities were outstanding,it was lovely and warm, the food was plentifull and well presented and very tasty,and our waiter was very attentive. the entertainment was brilliant and both mums enjoyed the evening bingo. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and would stay there again. the only down side to this hotel was we paid extra for a sea view and because the seal had gone on the windows we only saw condensation,but it didn't spoil our stay.
