the cabaret did not revolve the children as often in hotels, service in the restaurant was excellent. no shelf in the bathroom and biscuits would be nice on the tea and coffee tray also not enough parking spaces and only two sachetsof shower gel were supplied between two people over the two days we stayed. |

The hotel was very clean and near to transport. The system in place for delegation of tables at breakfast was very poor. There was no one at the desk and no one seemed to know which tables you were allowed to sit at. Very poor. |

Easy access to town and beach via tram or bus from outside hotel, or if active you can walk along prom. Hotel ample with entertainment each night. Food satisfactory. Rooms could do with a revamp though. |

The staff was helpful, and the room was clean, it was close to the beach and if you enjoy walking you could walk into the busy part of Blackpool. The bus stop and tram stop right outside the hotel. Not enough room for car parking, but the road around the hotel was okay to park there. |

The Cliffs hotel was located well and the staff were really helpfull. The full English breakfast on offer was very good. The price of the hotel was reasonable value. The drainage pipework must have passed through our room. When toilets were flushed elsewhere in adjacent rooms we were woken by the noise of the water passing through, it sounded really loud at times ! The hotel corridors look very dated, I think this hotel has the potential to be excellent if the owners spent some money on modernisation. |

Position ie views, transport busses/trams, reception staff, quiet room at rear as requested, food varied and tasty. Bathroom was too small, shower would be better use of space, no need for bath. Breakfast served till 10am would be better too. |

The grand staircase leading down to the foya and two bars. Strong smell of stale cigerette smoke in the bathroom. No little packet of biscuits in the room. TV too small. Could'nt work out how to use the shower. |

I consider the Hotel is primarily for holiday makers in Blackpool and is well able to take care of different age groups visiting. On a previous ocassion I stayed with my family at school half term, whereas this recent time the predominant type of visitor was elderly people. Within this later group, I was visiting Blackpool on business. The hotel adopted well to deliver to everyone. |

Staff were friendly and helpful Our room was at best very tired, the windows rattled, mould around the bath and generally very tatty. There were no towels in the room when we arrived (although the staff were quick to bring some to us). All in all not the luxury hotel i was expecting |

The staff The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom was far too small, and had to go down steps through a very low door, which is difficult when you are 6ft. For the price charged to stay per night the hotel needs to be modernised and upgraded. The food was well below standard. |

My own personal comment is that it was a 2* hotel charging a 4* price with a budget hotel attitude towards provision of tea and coffee facilities in the room. There was only 2 teabags, 2 sachets of coffee in the room. When I asked the front desk for some more I was informed that I would have to pay for them and any further sachets of milk. I paid £199 for 2 nights bed and breakfast at the Cliffs and am clearly disappointed with the place. |

Hotel was well placed for visiting Blackpool and other areas but was peaceful at night and away from loud noise and drinking. We liked the way the hotel respected families staying there. |

The location The dining room experience. The staff were not particularly friendly or smiley either at dinner or breakfast and the food was not cooked to order. Once a course was finished, the next course was brought out straight away meaning it had been cooked previously (the breakfast fried eggs were like rubber and the deep fried Pollock at dinner was the same)and was being kept warm. The food served gave the impression everything was bought in. |
