The service received was excellent. Special mention for the chef, my grandson has a severe nut allergy, on arrival he sat with us and went through the menus with us nothing was too much trouble, he made us feel at ease and produce a dedicated menu for my grandson, thus taking away a lot of worry,so we all could relax and enjoy our food which was excellent.
over a number of years that we have visited the Cliffs, family rooms seem to be situated over the cabaret room, this can be very noisy to the extent that it not only disturbs the children who are trying to sleep but also adults, from experience this goes on until midnight and sometimes after.
We spent a weekend to meet up with family. Once again The Cliffs did not dissapoint. The food choices were excellent, service was good and the food gorgeous. We had a seaview room which I think it's worthwhile paying a little extra for as they are spacious. The cleanliness of the room cannot be faulted. As soon as we went to breakfast the staff were in and everything was nice when we returned. The towels were changed daily. Given that the entertainment is provided I think the price is very good.
Facilities where right up my street. Entertainment was good on the Fri night however we all had seen all of the acts for both nights. Food was very good. Except breakfast sausages. Lovely comfortable hotel. Will be back.
Breakfast sausages. Repeated entertainment. Price of drink was a little expensive.
Staff were incredibly friendly. Food was excellent. Leisure facilities great. Everywhere very clean. Entertainment very good. Value for money excellent.
Car parking. Very limited needed to park on the road. Would have been nice to have been warned about this. There is quite a bit of parking on the roads around hotel but arriving on a very busy friday evening and pouring with rain not a great start to what was a brilliant weekend.
Food was excellent
Bed was really uncomfortable
food was excellent good entertainment
small room very confined bathroom
Wide choice of very nice food fro breakfast and evening meal. Good staff. Great entertainment.
Loads of children taking over everything which made the swimming pool out of bounds. A tiny bathroom which made the toilet almost impossible to use.
Food was amazing - no fault at all All staff were nice but restaurant staff in particular were very friendly and helpful Jacuzzi was powerful but water not very clean
The pool was small. Jacuzzi water could have been changed. The hotel advertised beauty treatments but the beautician cancelled my appointment three times which was extremely disappointing. This is not a reliable service.
the catering and the entetainment
the inadequate size of the bathroom and bedroom, only 1 bedside cabinet and only 1 chair doubt wether I will stay there again with this inadequate size of bedroom and bathroom which is obviously been made smaller to allow more visitors to stay
clean hotel good food enertainment every night tram stop right out side the door, basement area for teens
little kids soft play area was not open.
long wait for lift
Great hotel and staff, however very much aimed at older clientele and coach tours.
the hotel is our favourate in blackpool, the location is just where we like to be,the food is firstclass, our only negative is the rooms are rather dated, the yellow bathroom suite was like something from the sixties, though that wouldnt deter us from going again
Quite quiet, good choice of meals am & pm, nightly entertainment, warm bedroom.
First room too small, parts of buffet meals sometimes cold or just warm, wardrobe just adequate for one week.
food and entertainment
rooms on the interior of the hotel need new double glaze windows. we stay in room 314.the windows where rotton and damp.
Facilities are very good. Swimming pool lovely & warm. Food was excellent and you can eat as much as you want. Excellent value for money & the staff are very helpful. Able to have the same table during our stay
The reception desk is a bit too small for the number of guests-had to queue to book in & book out
No grab rail when showering. No heated towel rails
Food Staff Size of Room Cleanliness
The mattress was too soft for my liking but you can't please everyone, my mother loved it
The meals were fabulous, Staff always there when you needed them .
Room was quite small ..
Food was good, loved not doing dishes. Lovely white bath towels. Makes a difference not having lots of washing. Great having entertainment in the hotel.
The hotel was a bit out of the way for the attractions. Not a problem for my husband and I as we are able to walk. There is a bus stop and a tram stop outside if needed. Wish we would have turned right out of hotel and seen the lights near to Bispham. The parking does not have enough spaces.
The view from my bedroom window location of bedroom sound of running water during the night room 114
Great sea views. Nice pool. Helpful staff.
Room was a bit dated. Hotel had been updated but still appeared worn in places. One lift for all.
A very well run hotel, they thought of everything
We especially liked the restaurant, the food and the seating arrangement were excellent.
Our bedroom was fine except in the evening it was noisy when we could hear the cabaret but our son, wife and family of two teenage childrens' room was very small. We were expecting an adjoining room as some friends had told us they had.
