It' s very close to the railway station & underground
It's too narrow in the four-bedded room
clean, plain, reasonably priced. good breakfast facilities. toilets and showers were clean. perfect for young people at heart who don't want the frills of an ordinary hotel.
more toilets (or urinal) for men. possibly a bar? Otherwise great for our purposes.
Excellent welcome Receptionists were friendly Neat and spacious room Nice shower Hygienic environment Excellent breakfast Walkable distance to St Pancras
Noise of cars till late night Some roommates talked till late. the wc couldn't hold much water.
great location, friendly staff, cheap
very noisy all night through both from outside and other guests, mattrasses rock hard, pillows flat, duvet covered in stains (which we saw when leaving because we had to remove and turn in all the linens when checking out, not nice), very very hot in the room, showers dirty, no lights in the bathroom, no private toilets on our floor, no hooks, no bedlights, no handsoap, breakfast really bad didn't even include real coffee and no vegan alternatives and an unfriendly member of the staff watching over it
Location is nice you can use tube and bus easily to any place. Staff were really nice and they printed some documents for free.
Room was small so it was quite uncomfortable while packing luggage. So ppl packed their stuffs along the corridor before leaving the hostel. But it was okay for me as the price was fair.
The breakfast was good
Wifi doesn't work in the rooms and the 4bed dorm was very cramped. Hardly room to move.
good staff, sockets near the bunk, tidy and fair showers, laundry, "free" breakfast
wi-fi just never worked properly. Also, I just don't think that a hostel is a place for kids. During my stay there was a group of Ukrainian children and all they did was shouting at each other in the common room. The hostel staff might have said something to them, but they clearly wouldn't have understood. So if there's any way to avoid seeing such people at hostels, more travelers would be happy.
location and price
nowhere to put my stuff
Very good location, just near train station.
WIFI is not so good in the room, but in the Lobby is OK.
It was very cheap and close to Kings Cross
Very basic and miserable rooms but I expected that
The location is absolutely excellent. Being so close to King's Cross, you can either walk more or less everywhere in the city centre or take the underground in a couple of mins walking. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is kind and helpful.
In the dorm for 18 people there is not even one socket: it was pretty uncomfy having to go to the hall only to charge my mobile. The toilets can be more and a bit bigger, but they were always clean
Friendly and helpful staff
18 bed dormitory was dirty. The toilets and kitchen are quite dirty as well. The kitchen is also not big enough for the amount of people staying there.
Great staff, everything clean, close to underground
Really tiny rooms
separate sockets for everyone - no problem with charging your phone, reeding light that allowed to read even at 4AM without interrupting others in the room, amazing localisation, perfect if you need place for sleep, not staying in for the whole day, comfortable beeds
window in the room did not close, but the problem has been noted and was to be solved soon, no female bathroom on the last floor, really small rooms, no wifi signal inside the room (last floor)
Very noisy, especially because of the doors, which had to be slammed. Small, cell-like room. Awful showers. No internet in the room.
perfect location. fair price. nice staff and people around. the common room and kitchen were big enough for all the visitors. i stayed in a big room with 12 beds and didn't feel crowded at all. spacious instead. overall, one of the best hostels so far.
ummmm, it isnt easy to book a bed as it is too popular lol
The staff was very kind and friendly
there was no woman except me :(
Staff was really good, upgraded me when I got there!!! Really needed that, nice touch =]
Your wifi is terrible. I have stayed at both clinks on and off since April, it constantly logs your out, I could never say connected for more then 10 mins max!
I stayed at a 4 person room and there was only two cage locker. Room is really small. Size is good if you're sharing with friends. Otherwise, there's a lot of awkward moments specially when getting dressed and moving around.
extremely slow wifi
- clean, warm - location - our sleep was all right - good price for value in London
- London prices - wifi hardly works on 2nd floor - breakfast: musli, toast, cheese, honey, jam, sg to drink
We stayed in a 3 bedroom, little, but confortable enough. Breakfast is very complete (cereals, toasts, jams, cheese, and nutella at the weekend, juices...) and the location can't be better, you can go walking to the center which helps to save money and spend it enjoying the city. I would highly recommend Clink261 to anyone.
