Location. (Good enough to offset Clink 78 being generally nicer.)
The wifi - the worst I have ever used. You have to log in with facebook EVERY time. It is very slow, and blocks many chat and video phone systems. It even stops gtalk working on mobiles if you connect. If decent wifi at the hostel is important then this is not the hostel for you, if it isn't then this hostel is great. (McDonald's wifi is only a short way away). Not as many toilets and showers as I'd like, and the water takes a while to come through hot.
too hot in the room
Staff, very friendly and helpful.
Charging for phone not working
Muy bien ubicado. Good location. Close to the main tube estation.
Como la mayoría de hostels q conocí en Londres muy pequeño el cuarto y pocos baños (duchas e inodoros). Like almost all the hostels that I was in London the room so small and just 2 toilets and 2 shower for floor.
Very nice personal, clean rooms,
location, friendly staff
I like the staff, were very kind and nice, and the hostel looks very modern and confortable for young people with amount facilities. The relation of quality-price is very good, and its not too far of city centre and turistic places, just 20-30 min walking
I didnt like the beds, it was the worst part. Very unconfortable and the room is very small and narrow and all the beds are together...
Good location, price , and nice atmosphere.
Good location - few minutes from underground, bus station near. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Very helping employees. Price is good.
Only downside is small gap between bottom and upper bed - can't sit down on bottom bed, head is hitting upper bed.
close to St Pancras, and close to downtown London nice staff, clean rooms
not enough showers and bathrooms for the men
Importantly the place is clean, breakfast is decent and location is excellent.
Only drawback was the bed which was a little uncomfortable, pillow was pretty much non existent, like having my head on a pancake. Otherwise thanks!
place was beautiful, wi-fi easy and breakfast was easy and filling
The room for 4 was tiny as tiny can be, so when 2 (only 2) were trying to change or get ready to go, it was a game of twister
Quality of the bed and linen; individual reading light and power plug; kitchen; breakfast quantity (all you can eat)
Very small size of the room; no free access to local computer; breakfast variety (no ham or cheese)
Nice kitchen on the basefloor and it is easy to cook and use eashing machine there. The breakfast is lovely.
-Very good location 300-400m from Metro and Railway station "St Pancrass". -24h reception. -Good cleaning service for rooms and bathrooms. -Plain breakfast but enough.
-Too noisy. Everytime someone close the door of the floor you are, you're waked up. -Room very very small and beds are uncomfortable. -WIFI access only in reception.
The location was awesome! By taking a 7day oyster travelcard, you can run this town with a metro..and be wherever you want to be from King Cross Station with only one metro!! The price for staying there it was reasonable! The staff was very nice people!
The wifi wasn't good ! It only connected when you are in reception. The room was very small !
- close to the tube station - chilled breakfast room - clean beds - renovated (I stayed there a few years before)
- room with four beds was quite narrow - wifi didn't work in my room on the 2nd floor
Location staff value
very friendy stuff, great location, check-in at night (we came at 2 am), very nice was breakfast (included)
I've stayed here a couple of times before and it's been great. Perfect for a short stay trip to get my head down. This time round it was a bit of a rough sleep due to noise but ear plugs sorted that out.
Just be prepared for your stay.
very close to st pancras/king's cross stations, comfortable beds, warm in the room
a bit noisy from time to time (mainly due to other people arriving later in the night)
Great location! Male reception and female cleaning staff were very friendly and approachable
Lack of security (one day, the door was left open with a luggage propped against the door. The entrance is also always open so that anyone can walk into the hostel) Female reception staff were not trained in customer service and did not enforce dorm rules when there were loud and inconsiderate school children
Great Location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, sink and mirror and tea/coffee making facilities in room, nice breakfast included, reasonable room rate and good sound proofing from busy road outside
Stayed in private twin room - very narrow for 2 people and there was no wardrobe or chair to sit on. Not soundproof internally between rooms and no consideration from other guests staying there (who were obviously travelling in groups) constantly banging doors and shouting in the corridor outside from about 6:30 every morning - this is no real fault of the hostel though
almost everything was good, but I couldn't use wifi in my room
It is a little unkempt compared to when I was here a few years ago.
