We felt very comfortable and at ease. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the facilities and the garden. We would love to stay again.
After a stressfull time at work there is nothing better to relax but to take off all your clothes.
Having to put my clothes back on to go back to work the next day
spa facillities excellent, rooms clean very nice staff ,
being told if i arrive early before room was ready would have to pay £10 extra ,bottled beer expensive ,all food frozen then microwaved,
Friendly staff, very helpfully
Only one night
Great location for me, with option to have a meal on site. Free wi-fi was essential for me and there was great reception indoors, unfortunately not in the garden. Would recommend and I'll be back again soon
Excellent staff just a great experience.
Staff made us welcome on arrival. First visit to the hotel, and completely relaxed atmosphere. Guests also friendly. recommend to anyone. Room was exceptional. Cannot fault this stay at all.
Would probably prefer to stop over when it was restricted to couples. But nothing negative.
Excellent customer service & great attention to detail. Very welcoming & fabulous food. Was lovely to do everything naked. Great host in Tim the owner - fellow guests were varied & interesting. Some 'regular' hotels could learn a lot from this naturist spa hotel!! I have some mobility problems and pre-arranged with them to charge my electric wheelchair overnight in a quiet corner downstairs. They were very accommodating which I really appreciate. A sociable bunch of regulars & guests ensured my partner had conversational company while I rested. A+++++
Nothing.....it was faultless.
very clean ,amiable people
This is an unusual place, as the hotel is part of a spa, so one does not need any clothing anywhere on the premises. One can thus enjoy the complete freedom of being totally nude from arrival until departure, whether in the spa or indeed any other part of the hotel. In this relaxed environment, people are a lot more friendly towards each other.
The rooms facing the street can be a little noisy.
Stayed at Clover Spa for 2 nights. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and given a little tour. We were soon in the buff enjoying the facilities. The sauna is hot and the steam room steamy, the hot tub was hot and warm at different times but never uncomfortably cold, we got a little sun and managed a short spell in the garden which is beautifully kept and in midsummer sun would be a lovely place to chill out. The food is basic but perfectly adequate, there was a little confusion over breakfast on the last day but maybe we were spoilt the day before by being looked after by Tim. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, nice n big, great bed, tea and coffee, telly, everything you could want. A place to revisit.
The only thing was the road, i'm a particularly light sleeper and the road is busy all night, the wife slept like a baby but I woke a few times to vehicle noise. I doubt others have the same problem, unless they are like me. Light sleepers shuold ask for a garden view (we actually had one booked but got a free upgrade to a bigger room - :( )
Friendliness and relaxing atmosphere.
Delay in serving meals
Great staff, friendly welcoming couldnt do enough to make me feel at home. Lovely naturist spa. Thank you
The moment we arrived the staff was first class, the surroundings was fantastic.Every thing about our stay was just amazing. We will definitely book again without a doubt
Lovely place for a relaxing stay. This was our second visit and it's even better.
Very comfortable and made very welcome.
Evening meal was adequate at best but, to be fair, was priced to match.
Great rooms very comfortable
Clean and nice hotel
Long time for having a cappuccino at breakfast
My wife and I had an excellent stay at Clover Spa! A great place for a young couple like us to spend a weekend. Excellent facilities, comfortable room, great spa, wonderful hot tab (when it works!), very polite staff and guests. Overall, exciting and liberating experience.
Nothing in particular. It would be even more fun if other young and same-minded couples share the stay.
The whole experience for a "first time" naturist / spa visitor was as comfortable as it could have been, both in terms of the hotel and spa facilities themselves and the friendly and helpful staff for whom nothing was too much effort.
Having to leave!
We stayed in Clover Spa for two days, and it was like spending two days in paradise. When we checked in, we put all our problems and worries on a shelf together with our clothes, and never thought of either of them again until it was time to check out. Though this hotel seems to be made "by the English for the English", and therefore not adapted in any way for foreigners like us, we felt as welcome as anyone else could be. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, other guests were courteous - yet, of course, a foreign guest ought to speak at least basic English in order to avoid miscommunication. Food was also remarkably tasty. At first we thought to buy some food in Tesco round the corner to possibly save some money - but after trying food the hosts serve, unanimously decided not to. As Tim wittily remarked upon hearing that: "not worth getting dressed" - and was absolutely right :) I swear, never in our life had we felt so sorry and reluctant about having to get dressed and go somewhere, as we did when it was time to leave. And how annoying it felt in other hotels we stayed afterwards, where you have to put something on before going down for breakfast or opening the door for room service!
The radiators in the room seem to turn on and off on some timer: it's like "about an hour on - a few hours off", which made room temperature at times drop below comfortable for people wearing nothing but short bathrobes. Yet I'm almost sure it's just our Russian bodies spoiled by cheap central heating - by British standards such room temperature is perfectly normal :)
Tiny beds. Unless you are a child it is hard to sleep on the bed as a couple. Rooms are by the main busy road so very noisy for sleeping.
FANTASTIC STAY! very relaxing and comfortable. we where made to feel welcome at all times and yet allowed to enjoy the peace and quiet. We will definitely be making another visit.

Clean modern rooms. WiFi throughout the hotel. Clothing optional spa doesn't intrude into "normal" hotel functions and can be totally avoided if necessary.
Described as a "hotel" but is in fact a (large) guest house.
