Club Quarters, Trafalgar Square  

We had a lovely stay at Club Quarters. The room was very clean and well equipped, staff were helpful. Central location was perfect. Would stay again!

Our second time here and yet again the staff were amazing (many thanks to Prashant!). The bed was very very comfortable and the location is top notch! Last time it was for the London Marathon, this time a theatre trip/ birthday. Why stay anywhere else? My only recommendation is that if you want a quiet night, ask for a room at the rear of the building (it is unbelievably so peaceful), but this time we had a room at the front, and it was only noisy because it was a Saturday night and we slept with our window open...so it was no fault of the hotel!! Many thanks.

Nice ambiance to the bar, restraunt area. Pleasant room, nice view.

The room is just starting to become a bit shabby. Paint work peeling off the wall, window dirty. Not as smart as the room I stayed in recently at Lincolns Inn Field Club Quaters.

A bit expensive but the location off sets this to an extent.

The location was great, staff were very helpful, free water bottle's are a fab idea. The breakfast in Boyd's was good value for money. Overall a great place to stay in London.

Not at all adapted for families apart from the size of the room which was good. The room was dark and depressing with tiny window. We were disappointed with our choice. Not the cosy Hotel we hoped to find.

The room was clean, modern and spacious. Originally I was worried whether the traffic from Trafalar square would be too loud, but at least my room was really quiet and one couldn't virtually hear it. Free and pretty fast WiFi was great as well.

We stayed here whilst my husband ran the London marathon and the location was perfect! (A minute walk from mile 25!). We only booked a basic small double, but it was large enough, very clean, the bed was amazing, the bar very stylish and although we were at the back of the hotel....which may be for the more basic rooms (and our view was of other buildings), it was absolutely peaceful at night! We slept with our window open and we couldn't believe we were in central London! We have already booked to stay there in May for a theatre trip, and for the price would probably use this hotel more than any other for its location. It's a few minutes walk from either Charring Cross or Embankment tube stations and very near the hotel there are some lovely little bars as well as the larger chain restaurants. May I also say that all of the staff we dealt with were lovely! Top marks.

Room too hot/stuffy. I changed my arrival date and they said they didn't get the message and charged me for the night of 4/13 even though I had changed the reservation well in advance. So I find it curious that our room was not ready when we arrived early on the 14th. Seems to me if check in time is 3pm they should have had that room ready for us in the morning. Did they give that room to a guest after 3pm on Sunday and the guest stayed only one night? I don't think this is fair. Also we booked the room for 4 people, there were only 2 chairs at the table so I requested 2 more which seemed to puzzle the staff. We were given only 3 glasses in the bathroom. No washcloths(flannels) were replaced...had to request them. So based on the fact that I was charged for the room for 4/13 but the room wasn't ready when we arrived early on the 14th I doubt I will stay at a Club Quarters Hotel again.

Staff - especially Michelle on reception. She heard it was my wife's 40th birthday and gave us a great room overlooking Big Ben - Thank you so much!

What is effect was a compulsory service charge of 12.5% on anything you ordered from the bar. Even though service was ok in the bar, it did not justify 12.5%. We would have left a tip anyway but no where near that amount. It was quite difficult to say take it off the bill as It was being charged to the room. Did not like this attitude at all.

All the previous reviews talking about the good location were absolutely right , minuets walking from Chairing Cross tube station , Embankment station , London eye , Big Ben , Trafalgar Square and a lot of cafés & restaurants around , Great welcoming staff , very clean rooms & hall ways

The only thing that disturbed me was the luggage handling ( when I checked in & out ) very very very slow
