Close to shop, restaurants, overground and underground trains, power shower, very spacious double room with microwave, desk and queen size bed. Quick check in and out. I could say it is a lovely place to stay.
There are only 2 things that bothered me. First, I was woken up many times by St. Paul's Cathedral's bell on Sunday morning. 2nd and most of all the room service is not 24 hours. Worst of all their room service do not deliver breakfast as according to the Chef on the phone he did not have enough staff. He did offer to cook for me but i had to collect it myself downstairs. What kind of room service is that??
We spent Christmas EVE in London so being across St. Paul Cathedral made our stay! We ere able to attend Midnight mass in the front row amongst hundreds of people. Great location. Staying in London City is perfect for visiting purposes. Many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Very well served by transportation. Lounge room is modern, cozy and well equipped with computers, printers, TVs, complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and refreshments are available at all times.
Rooms were not well cleaned. We found old french fries under the bed and even a cell phone that someone had left behind.
We had a problem with the breakfast at Cote, but this is not your fault! The coffee was cold and the Egg Florentine was very cold!
Spacious Great location Helpful staff Good value
Great location in The City. Efficient reception, friendly staff Nice large room Comfy large bed, slept well!
Location - right next to St Pauls Cathedral and a few minutes walk to the South Bank over the millennium bridge
No safe in the room No iron + board in the room (you can go and get one from a utility room and carry it back yourself, when someone eventually answers the phone to tell you where it is) Because of the above and generally average nature of the hotel I can't see why it has a 4 star rating considering I stay in many 4 star hotels on business
Attached resturant very good. Spotless clean rooms. Well equipped family room.
The location of the hotel
The room was very cold the heating system was bad
Nice staff and location
Can't get breakfast in your room
Excellent location, everything we needed within a couple of minutes walk, and only a five minute walk to Blackfriars Station from where we could travel to all of our destinations for the weekend very easily.
The bells of St Paul's can keep you awake, but that just adds to the experience of a great weekend away!!
The location was excellent. A stones throw from the underground and all tourist attractions accessible within 10-15 minutes rIde. High quality area, next to St Pauls and excellent restaurants nearby.
Quiet room away from traffic noise Free Upgrade to Spacious suite Handy for St Paul's and The Barbican Tube station nearby Friendly helpful staff Free left luggage facility
Shower room a bit small but adequate & wash hand basin in different place to shower & toilet!
The location was awesome!
There was no room service, which was disappointing.
the bars of soap
the room was discounted from 1000 to 230 euro . We expected a luxurious room . It was tiny poorly lit plaina disappointment
Convenient location. Professional staff. Good size room with modern equipment. Complimentary hot drinks in guest lounge
The walls are too thin. All the noises from other rooms and outside can be heard easily.
It was very noisy as a fan came on and went off all night. Not ours. It was too hot in the room and couldn't open the windows readily. Also shower curtain seemed to smell.
Location! Quiet room -Functional
Too easy to complain-In truth cost reflects location and all good..but close to needing new carpets in corridors..or air fresheners in corridors which are a little claustrophobic...but don't let this put you off.
welcoming, flexible staff, good room, cosy and useful lounge, great location
Comfortable, excellent staff, quiet, has both air conditioning and heat, many extra's including snacks, computers, printers, exercise facilities, restaurant, washer and dryer , etc .... pretty much like you are home away from home ....
no comments ....
Friendly helpful staff Large room Cleanliness
The location is excellent for self-catering with Marks & Spencer and Paul very near
Kitchen utensils could be much better. There should be small bowls and proper cups and saucers.
Even though we had a 'small' double room... it wasnt that small. Quite a reasonable size. Could not hear road noise either.
Good location near the train station to the airport. Good cleaning room comfy.
Very expensive No shower hat in the shower
The view of St Paul's from the bedroom window. The facilities were good and the staff were so helpful.
The chiming of St Paul's all night made it difficult to sleep and it was a little too hot, even in winter. I tried to open the window for fresh air but it was a little too noisy to leave it open.
