The room was too hot and the aircon was too noisy, we barely slept.
Location, cool bottled water a nice touch, restaurant, value, electric converters available
Not clean, totally a business hotel (not for couples), awkward non hotel feel, slow wifi, room decor
Purpose of stay was to try to get a few hours sleep before heading back to work (just around the corner). Reception staff assigned a quiet room at the back of the building. It was perfect; I didn't hear anyone else!
Great staff and location
Expected single beds in triple room
Clean room well presented in the location we wanted.
Was really set up for a single traveller. One side of the double bed was against the wall and there was no bedside table on that side. I felt this was a poor feature in an otherwise good room.
We arrived early but were able to check in. The room was clean and quiet (although in the morning we could hear people in the corridor). Convenient location a couple of minutes from the tube and with a bus stop just outside. Water cooler in the hall with bottles to fill up and take with you were a nice touch. Good value for the money.
There was only one pillow which was too low for my partner, so another option would have been nice.
Efficient check in with friendly staff on the desk. Plenty of choice for breakfast with helpful but discreet staff.
No eating utensils in the room at all I bought a salad from M&S and had nothing to eat it with
location, ease of booking in/out comforts being able to leave my bag the next day after check out and collecting later. restaurant
Paying £23 more just in case I had any extras, it was impossible to refund this (as advised) as my handbag (and card) were stolen that night.
Staff on the desk were very helpful
Great location. Very close to Liverpool Street station (about 15min walking). There are a lot of commodities around. Free water, tea and coffee in the public areas. Free wi-fi.
When I arrived, I had to give authorization for a deposit from my debit card.
We went there for New Year's Eve. We picked the hotel simply because of its location from the event we were going too. Though it wasn't as central as other hotels I've stayed in the area seemed to have many shops and stores around. There also was a market a short walk away which was nice. I was given a room with disability facilities which was convenient. The bathroom was spacious and so was the room itself. The microwave came in very handy.
It was new year's eve and I had forgotten my phone charger. They didn't have any at the front desk.
Central and circle lines very easy to reach from the hotel. Facilities in the lobby (free the and coffee). A lot of places for breakfast and meals.
The room was very clean, however we find a spot on the chair in our room (I don't like to write was I suspect it was). I ask to the reception if they could change the chair, and they promptly did. The hotel is located in the City, so pay attention that on Sat and Sun you could have to walk a little to have breakfast because most of the places are closed.
Service was non existent!
The Staff were very welcoming, helpful. More than happy to accommodate any need, from housekeeping to coordinating transportation. The Monumemt underground (tube/subway) is only 1/4 mile away if that, perfect for any traveler. I would definitely book this hotel again.
Location is fab. 5 min walk to London Bridge and tube stations. Very friendly staff. Excellent facilities.
Really great location, and excellent value given the hotel is so centrally located. Its a practical place that gets the basics right but don't expect frills. I'd definitely stay again.
Friendly staff. Facilities
the room was a bit small
Great location. Close to tube station. Friendly and helpful staff.
No bath mat in the bathroom.
The location was good, close to Tube station and train station
At our check-in the receptionist didn't inform us about any facilities that the hotel offers, we had to guess them. When we got in the bedroom, the room smelled bad, and although we paid for a triple room, there was only a double bed and a small sofa bed which was not comfortable at all. The sheets smelled bad and there were hair all over. The floor trembled and we thought it would collapse in any minute. It really needs a renovation!
Great location, Very friendly staff comfortable room a bit small for a triple but for one night it was fine. Kitchen facilities a little cramped but again for one morning was fine. Coffee machine in lobby was excellent and we had coffees late in the afternoon when we went back for our luggage lovely.
Room was on the small side for 3 adults. Pricey but hey its London!!!!!!!
After getting back to the hotel around 10 o'clock and going straight to bed I woke up around an hour later with a funny smell, after realising the smell was coming from the bed I looked at the pillows and thought they didn't look clean, so I throw them of the bed,I could still smell the smell but couldn't work out where it was coming,I think it seemed to be coming from the whole bed,it was either in my opinoin that it was body odour or damp sheets\bedding etc. Sadly I had 2 hours sleep, not great I'm afraid.
All round nice hotel
A bit expensive
Well located in the center of London and close to the underground. Appreciated the filtered water available on each floor.
My side of the bed was against the wall!!!
