We arrived to be told that there were no non-smoking rooms available, but the very nice staff on the desk upgraded us to a larger non-smoking room at no cost. We really appreciate that, thank you. Having smoking rooms at all is ridiculous. If the hotel had been full and/or we hadn't been given an upgrade, I doubt we would have enjoyed our stay. Smoking rooms always stink and make me feel ill. Please consider making all rooms non-smoking?

Well situated walking distance from Liverpool Street Station, final stop of the Stanstead Express. The rooms are big, and very well equipped, very clean, superb bathroom and with free Wifi, big flatscreen tv with full list of channels. The room even had a ipod docking station ready for my ipod next to my bed. Only 2 minor drawbacks from my point of view, although the hotel offers a very broad roomservice, there is no actual mini bar in the room. Hardly needed as you can order anything from the roomservice or in the hotel bar but still. Also breakfast which was a choice of full English or Continental was good but not included in the price, something I've come to expect for the price.

The hotel did not offer included breakfast, although it was ranked as a 4 star hotel. It was strange that there was not any toothbrush and toothpaste.

Our Superior room had a kitchenette including fridge and microwave and was well equipped for self catering. The room was spacious even with an additional rollaway bed in it. It had a two-seater sofa and flatscreen tv. The hotel was easy to find, close to Leadenhall market and the Lloyds building. It is also convenient for public transport. The attached Wetherspoon's pub was closed over the bank holiday weekend which we were unaware of when we booked.

The hotel was lovely. The only thing we didn't like was the automatic check in. Missed the personal touch.

Has everything you need and more - free tea, coffee & bottled water, comfortable bed, clean room, microwave, etc. Not a very inspiring place - first thing to greet you is the automatic check-in machines in reception, dull decoration, room seemed dark, etc. In other words, no complaints, but it does exactly what it says on the tin, and nothing more.

Excellent location in the City and as I booked well in advance I was able to secure a very good price - so I can say that it was very good value for money. The Staff were very helpful (being my first time staying at the hotel this was gratefully received when booking in and signing out). Also reassuring to know that there was someone available to assist should the need arise/security (being a lone female customer).

Stayed one night for nye ... Location was excellent ( 2-3 minute walk from tube station ) , Tesco & Sainsburys express round the corner to get essentials , the price considering it was nye was key (great value compared to other 4 star hotels on nye , some 300 plus ) , standard of the hotel was exactly as we had seen in the pictures , very clean & modern with a sense of class and the staff were great ... Couldn't of asked for any more !! Would definitely recommend to others !! Even though on reviews it has been classed as more of a "buisness" hotel , I openly enjoyed the more space the rooms offered , also a table n desk was nice also and the bathroom was spectacular .. along with a wet room as a shower !! Sweet and simple ... what more could you want , would also recommend for not only business members but for everyone

I would recommend Club Quarters Gracechurch hotel and would definetly stay there again. The staff were very helpful and the small double room had ample space. The hotel was extremely clean. It was central to most tourist attractions and within walking distance of the moument/bank street underground.

Handy for where we were going. Clean. Provision of bottled water. We stayed on a Saturday night. As breakfast was limited we chose to book out and find a local eaterie. Shower room very compact! Noise from heating/aircon.unit during night even though switched off.

The small double room was in fact quite roomy. Reception staff were very friendly. The area is very quiet at weekends, really only one choice of place to eat in the immediate area. Many pubs and shops closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Foarte bun hotelul, curat, camerele bine utilate, internet gratuit. Amplsare in aproprierea a doua statii de metro, putin mai greu de ajuns in zona comerciala din centrala( 15min), dar compenseaza cu pretul camerei.

I needed to be near Shoreditch, so I chose this hotel. The price was ok (I got a deal) and even though my room was called a 'small double' it was actually bigger than the average hotel room. The free wifi was great. Beware - this hotel is in the city/business area, so hardly anything is open on a weekend. If you're looking for a buzz (shopping, nightlife etc) look elsewhere. Shops are even closed on a Saturday! Also the hotel bar and restaurant were closed on a weekend. But if this doesn't bother you, and you enjoy quiet streets, it's ideal.

This hotel is a wonderful building with nice/helpful staff. They have a special storage room if you wish to leave your bags with them if you arrive before check-in or leave after check-out. The bathrooms are nice/contemporary and the showers are big - lots of room. Flat screen tv in the room has local channels, good quality. Bed was comfortable. Not very noisy at night, and close to Liverpool Station. Pillows on the bed were too soft. Couldn't figure out how to open the windows.

Great location. Very courteous, professional staff. We're very familiar with the Club Quarters in Washington, dc and this was the first time staying at the Greacechurch location. We will definitely stay there again if we have another trip to London.

I like the little touches like a coffee machine and papers in the reception /reading room and cold water being provided free. We had an evening drink and breakfast next door in the Cross Keys pub which makes the two facilities complimentary. Location opposite Leadenhall market is superb for any city related activity.

The hotel is very well located for city tourists and business. If you fly into London City Airport just take dlr to Bank, walk down Lombard St. And you are there. The mix of old and new architecture in the vicinity is great, London Tower bridge just a walk away and you can rent a bycicle nearby to explore the city along the Thames river banks. The hotel is compact, very clean and tasteful decorated. I liked the free Wifi, business center, coffee, tee, mineral water, newspaper in the lounge. Enjoyed the pubs and the small restaurant in the Leaderhall opposite side of the street. And the shopping at m&s 50 yards down. Excellent value at reasonable price.
