Dated and dark decor. Bar is too small as it is a combined lounge and the dinner guests fill it!

Lovely hotel warm welcome , although I arrived late nothing was too much trouble fab breakfast , only stayed 1 night but would have liked to stay more.

Great food.

The owners made us feel really welcome and could not do enough to make our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Our evening meal was of exceptional quality beautifully prepared and the little added touches of pre-meal appetizers made us feel truly at home. Lloyd and Julia were the perfect hosts.

From walking in the door we were looked after to a very high standard. The Owner / Chef was not just serving some of the best food i have tasted in a long while but was also passionate about ensuring you know were the product comes from and also how he will cook it. I will without doubht stop at Cluny again as i am very passionate about my business and it is great to see a like minded people. BH +PH

The Welcome from Lloyd was special as was the delicious evening meal. Our room (2) was enormous and very comfortable and warm. The home made fudge in the room was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Gourmet food served with passion. Rooms were spotless and held every amenity. Hotel was beautifully decorated. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in this area.

We stayed 2 days and never wanted to leave the place, room was cosy and nice, Lloyd and Julia was fantastic hosts and when it comes to Lloyd the owner and chef, we where blown away with his meals that he wipped up for us, a 5 Star Restaurant. The food selection at breakfast was very good, the location and setting is lovely

We did not like our room, it was annexed from the main hotel,windows did not open and there was mouldy smell in the bathroom, they had one of those plugged in air freshners to cover the smell which not only didn't but was abnoxious. The decor in the room was bits and pieces of old but not attractive furniture. The window looked out on to a one time patio which was now neglected. The bathroom was fairly new but difficult to get into tub/shower for anyone with joint problems, The shower panel allowed water to leak on to the floor, possibly the reason for the mouldy smell as water got under the bathtub.

Food was extremely well produced and produced with great enthusiasm by the owner. Nice menu and good value. I would go there again

The friendly staff and atmosphere of the hotel. The staff/owners really go out of their way to make your stay as nice as possible.

Comfortable b&b with an absolutely charming and friendly staff eager to assist with any task. They accommodated my late night and early morning travel requirements without complaint. The atmosphere is very relaxed yet elegant. They made me feel like a welcomed friend. Finally, the food was outstanding. I sincerely deserves special mention and was, without exaggeration, the highlight of my trip.

I only worry that my walking around at night may have woken other guests, as the historic house does have some creaky floors.

Ein romantisches Haus in einer kleinen Stadt in wunderbarer Landschaft; unser Zimmer war in jeder Beziehung überzeugend. Die "Wirtsleute" sind sehr um die Gäste bemüht, und der Patron kocht wirklich gut!

Es gab für uns nichts, nichts zu bemängeln - drücken wir die Daumen, dass der Patron sich seinen Traum weiter erfüllen kann.

The service at Cluny Bank Hotel was excellent in all regards. The proprietress even stayed up waiting for me to arrive in the middle of the night when my flight was delayed. They were very professional yet very personable. The food was also exceptional, gourmet quality. The room was so memorable that I will request it the next time I visit. I could go on, but suffice it to say I will always remember the quality of service that I received at Cluny Bank Hotel.

Friendly welcome in very pleasant surroundings. It has the feeling of a small country house and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for our hosts. The meals were excellent; and I look foward to returning some time later in the year

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and I couldn't have asked for better service. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was in a lovely setting and everything was spotless. The food is fantastic and compliments to the chef on an amazing dinner!

The hotel staff were very friendly and take care of you : they will do the best for your stay. In add, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. The best hotel in Forres that you can find.

The shower was a little bit Loudly when you take it.
