Beautiful location with views over the bay. Would use this place again
We booked 2 cottages that on booking.com stated that they slept 2 and 1 respectively. When we arrived we realised we had one 3 bedroom and an inter connected one 2 bedroom cottage which in total slept 10 people. We asked if there had been a mistake but the owners confirmed this is what we had paid for. As we had come from London to visit our daughter at uni we had brought her golden retriever, Bruce too. We had intended for him to stay with her at her accomodation overnight while we and our son stayed at Clyne Farm. However we decided to ask the very friendly owners if she and Bruce could stay too allowing us all to spend more time together as we were only there overnight. They kindly agreed and we had a wonderful stay.
The bathrooms need updating. One of the toilets didn't flush which we reported to the owners. There were no basic toiletries or a hairdryer which was a problem as my daughter has very long hair and had to go to bed with wet hair.
The farm, the view, the cottage. The price.
Very drafty patio doors, heating escaped! faulty microwave.
Fantastic kitchen facilities, such generous breakfast supplies! Many thanks, we will be back
The horseriding, the beautiful location and the well equipped cottage. We had some good quality family time.
The steps were a little slippery as the weather was damp.
Close to Gower beaches and for exploring Gower. Cosy cottages with excellent amenities.
The high level of equipment in the kitchen was excellent and would suit any level of cooking needs. The rest of the property was well decorated, with an authentic farm building feel to the place. Heating was good, once we had figured out how it worked. Needs to be better explained by staff or easy guide left in the room.
The chairs in the lounge weren't' very comfortable, the DVD player didn't work and a bit of a draft through the patio doors. But only minor things that good be easily improved.
Breakfast, location, cottage all fantastic
location, great views, friendly staff and owner , fantastic stay for horse lovers! Stayed in Chapel Barn lovely stay will be visiting again soon.
Quiet Views Privacy Comfortable bed Closeness to town Unique
We could only get the heating to work in the bathroom....so it was a little chilly. But not a huge problem.
All of it
Couldn't get the TV to work, and poor internet coverage. Very minor niggles.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good range of facilities , if required. Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation. Superb self-contained cottage with excellent kitchen facilities. Great location, tucked away close to The Mumbles. Would recommend to anyone.
the layout of the apartments the use of the small kitchen and dining area friendliness of the staff outdoor bbq position views of the surrounding area
facilities cleanliness help yourself approach
dark and poor lighting on arrival
The accommodation had every thing required for a short break.
If someone in the cottage flushes the toilet load banging noises continue throughout the house for about 30 minutes, making it pretty hard to go back to sleep!
1. The information and travel suggestions offered by the owner were helpful and fun. 2. The connection with Dylan Thomas's birth house is great. 3. The whole atmosphere of the place is great, especially if you like rural quirkiness.
Unfortunately our bedroom was next to the water pressure booster pump, which kicked on at various times during the night and was very noisy.
We stayed in keepers cottage which was in middle of woods. Very peaceful! If looking for modern comforts then not recommended! We loved old fashioned feel and log fire! Children enjoyed having go on piano! Despite some negatives which just need tlc would book again.
Kitchen white appliances rather dirty on the outside! Controls on oven markers diappeared. Unable to judge for putting oven on and was quite dirty. Dirty bath.just needs abit of tlc! Would still book again as so rustic and peaceful!
A warm welcome, understanding staff, who insisted we had free upgrade. Wonderful views over Mumbles bay & central to the Gower and the great beaches.
Lounge, location, kitchen
Needs refurbishing and to decide if its really a B&B
Stunning views across Swansea Bay and Mumbles Great spacious property for a large family group with private garden
quiet location; efficient booking; good quality breakfast; friendly information,
The cottage was really quirky, and so different from most holiday lets. The views and surrounding countryside were stunning. You were able to walk to the common / golf course 5 minutes.
First impressions of the Centre was not good as it looked a bit uncared for, but later realised that the barn was being renovated. The wi-fi coverage could have been better.
Great views Quiet A farm stay but close to the city Great kitchen Continental breakfast excellent. Warm with plenty hot water Beds comfortable
Bathroom in need of modernisation Very old TV and DVD player. No WiFi in accomodation.
