location, great views, friendly staff and owner , fantastic stay for horse lovers! Stayed in Chapel Barn lovely stay will be visiting again soon.
Quiet Views Privacy Comfortable bed Closeness to town Unique
We could only get the heating to work in the bathroom....so it was a little chilly. But not a huge problem.
All of it
Couldn't get the TV to work, and poor internet coverage. Very minor niggles.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good range of facilities , if required. Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation. Superb self-contained cottage with excellent kitchen facilities. Great location, tucked away close to The Mumbles. Would recommend to anyone.
the layout of the apartments the use of the small kitchen and dining area friendliness of the staff outdoor bbq position views of the surrounding area
facilities cleanliness help yourself approach
dark and poor lighting on arrival
The accommodation had every thing required for a short break.
If someone in the cottage flushes the toilet load banging noises continue throughout the house for about 30 minutes, making it pretty hard to go back to sleep!
1. The information and travel suggestions offered by the owner were helpful and fun. 2. The connection with Dylan Thomas's birth house is great. 3. The whole atmosphere of the place is great, especially if you like rural quirkiness.
Unfortunately our bedroom was next to the water pressure booster pump, which kicked on at various times during the night and was very noisy.
We stayed in keepers cottage which was in middle of woods. Very peaceful! If looking for modern comforts then not recommended! We loved old fashioned feel and log fire! Children enjoyed having go on piano! Despite some negatives which just need tlc would book again.
Kitchen white appliances rather dirty on the outside! Controls on oven markers diappeared. Unable to judge for putting oven on and was quite dirty. Dirty bath.just needs abit of tlc! Would still book again as so rustic and peaceful!
A warm welcome, understanding staff, who insisted we had free upgrade. Wonderful views over Mumbles bay & central to the Gower and the great beaches.
Lounge, location, kitchen
Needs refurbishing and to decide if its really a B&B
Stunning views across Swansea Bay and Mumbles Great spacious property for a large family group with private garden
quiet location; efficient booking; good quality breakfast; friendly information,
The cottage was really quirky, and so different from most holiday lets. The views and surrounding countryside were stunning. You were able to walk to the common / golf course 5 minutes.
First impressions of the Centre was not good as it looked a bit uncared for, but later realised that the barn was being renovated. The wi-fi coverage could have been better.
Great views Quiet A farm stay but close to the city Great kitchen Continental breakfast excellent. Warm with plenty hot water Beds comfortable
Bathroom in need of modernisation Very old TV and DVD player. No WiFi in accomodation.
Location Facilities Spacious
breakfast- actually it is only a bunch of breads and milk...
We like the family footage very much . It is very large , relaxing ,with very nice garden
When we arrived & collected the keys for our cottage , we found it is not what we booked & paid for !!!. We booked a family voltage that has a patio, garden view , fireplace & others that were not available in the cottages given to us . After complaining , next day they moved us to our booked cottage.
Nothing, was a lovely little break
The generous breakfast supplies including milk, butter, bread and fruit. The kitchen was very well equipped.
Thought I'd booked Keeper's Cottage so was disappointed at first to find ourselves in Hayloft with outside stairs up to the door. I didn't realise I'd booked through Booking.com. Would certainly come again but would book direct. At our age, not being early risers, we would have liked the hot water to be timed for longer than 8.30am. No need for it to start at 6.30am for us older ones! Unable to rate staff as we met none and could not undo rating dot on survey.
Horse riding ,the dog ,walk in the woods ,
The claiming wall was not ready no snooker table nothing to do indoors
Liked the location, horses on doorstepand our cosy cottage , was suprised we were allowed to book for one night only. Great communication via e mail too , we were given another cottage at short notice as my mum is disabled and i didnt check the one i had booked was easily accessible!
I liked the spacious rooms and farm house experience not very far from the town centre.
