The room was clean, tidy and large. The food served in the C & H was excellent. Plenty of choice, well presented and good sized portions. Very good quality. Shower in en suite was very efficient. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Kettle in room was unuseable due to being disgusting inside. The continetal breakfast was not eaten as it looked unappitising. However, As we were leaving very early in the morning and taking breakfast further down the road none of this would put us off staying at this venue again.

Nice large room and bathroom. Ease of parking Poor breakfast. A "continental breakfast" consisted of a bowl of cereal and a sad looking croissant.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Included continental breakfast was simple, paid extra £9/each for large English with tea - this was excellent.

Very large room in a seperate building to the pub. Quiet location. Lovely hanging baskets. Memorable for all the wrong reasons! Overpriced even at £65 and if we had seen the room first we would definately not have stayed there. The bed linen was clean - but still damp. The lightining was very dim and the rooms were in desperate need of some TLC. All the bathroom fittings were loose and the sink taps were broken and difficult to turn off. Although breakfast was included in the price, it was not made clear that this was a cold breakfast of cereal, milk, orange juice and a soggy pastry from a fridge in the room. A cooked breakfast was available for an addition charge, but this service did not start until 10am. It is a shame to have to give such a negative review because for a little bit of effort, this suite could be lovely. I assume that the owners don't care enough to want to fix the problems or give a good service to their customers, but this is hard to confirm as we never saw them during our stay.

The friendliness of the Hotel staff, the food available and quality of the same. The room was large and clean with plenty of tea, coffee and milk etc. Have read other reviews posted and can only assume the people wanted Park Lane accommodation for bunkhouse price.

Location good, good sized room, clean linen and towels The room needed decorating and smelt very musty. It was very tired and I felt as a lone travellor that the security could be improved.

I was there with my 4 sisters on a visit to the village where we spent a lot of our youth. We have many relatives in the area. We know the Coach & Horses from way back, but this was the first time we had stayed there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large with all facilities expected (tea, coffee, tv, hair drier, toiletries). The bed linen was clean and the towells changed regularly. The evening food was excellent with a good choice. There are some adverse comments about the lack of hanging space - try looking in the entrance hall where there is a large hanging cupboard. The continental breakfast was not to everyone's liking - but this is a working pub where a cooked breakfast is available from 10am - a little late if wanting to be out and about. Cleaning could be a little more thorough. There were some cobwebs in the corners and the beds were merely pulled up not tidied. There were some stains on one of the chairs and the bath enamel was starting to peel.

We booked the Coach & Horses last minute. We chose it because it accepted our dog, and it wasn't too far from Winchester. We were given a very friendly welcome and were offered sandwiches, even although we arrived in the evening after the kitchen had closed. The rooms were very spacious and met our needs for the night.

The TV and he large room. - Bathroom was filthy, Cold water tab did not word, leaked. - Rooms where situated behind a parkingspace, behind a pub. The whole parkingspace was covered with sigarrettesremains. - Breakfast was 'continental'' and excist only in a old baked and dry sort of croissant, some cerials and nescafe coffee or tea. - The B&B was in a small village app. 10 miles off Winchester. To find a proper eveningmeal one had either go to Winchester or use a meal in the pub. Because we where on motorbikes we took a meal in the pub. It was tasteless, real pubgrub and, for that quality, far to expensive. - As motorbikers we are used to something but this was very bad for the 63 pounds we had to pay fot this Bed and (Breakfast ?).

Staff were friendly and helpful, food and drink was excellent. Room was a bit cold at night, although problem solved with spare duvet in cupboard. Self-service breakfasts were ok but not great.
