The breakfast was nice and the staff in the morning lovely. Plenty of hot water. The room was dirty. The curtains weren't lined; sun woke me up in the morning. No sound proofing in between walls and intrusive level of noise from the adjacent busy road. Room was very 'tired'.

I was visiting family nearby so its location was convenient. The breakfast was nicely cooked and the dining room was modern & nicely decorated compared to the bedrooms. The layout of the rooms around a courtyard is very attractive. This could be a great hotel if the rooms were updated and made more comfortable. The rooms were very tired and dated with very poor quality bed & bedding, although everything was very clean. Not a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom was very poor and badly needs to be updated. In addition the radiator in the bathroom was not working so it was extremely cold - too cold to even stay in the shower long enough to wash my hair.

Staff very friendly and obliging. Convenient for Cambridge Park-and-Ride and, for a last-minute booking, available. On a busy main road though, to be fair, the rooms were at the back and so screened from traffic noise.

There was plenty of car parking space, room was cosy , breakfast was ideal with good choice of cereals. Although the room was cosy, it needed a lick of paint .

Staff were helpful, breakfast was ok. Room was ok but quite small for a family room (2 adults and a child). Bathroom was very basic and tiny, shower was very weak. Not worth £105 per night, shame there are no alternatives nearby.

I chose the hotel on the basis of price and location. Hotel benefits from having a bar and quiet rooms. Hotel bar and dining/breakfast room are a bit quirky in decor and layout! The bar is not at all cosy - ok for a much needed drink but not somewhere to relax.....

We have stayed there before as it convenient for our needs. It also provides anonimity with it's individual accomodation units. Only criticism was that the bedspread was grubby.

The main issue about the hotel, is it lacked atmosphere, as in there was no music piped through anywhere. Whilst my husband and I were eating breakfast there were two other couples in the restaurant also and there was a deathly silence. Music would have made us all less uncomfortable.

The location was convenient since we were attending a family wedding in the area. The room was too hot at night and the proximity to the road meant it was not convenient to open the window. A summer weight duvet would have been more appropriate.

The bed was clean and comfortable. Fithy courtyard - cigarette buts everywhere. The entrance mat to my room was threadbare, very dirty and littered with cigarette buts. The door and window hadn't seen a cloth and water for a good while. What a welcome! The room was not too bad (bed was comfortable and clean) although the shower base was cracked, the floor not clean, and generally in need of an update. I was put off eating anything on these premises.

The staff. People Dinking at 7 am in the morning in the garden. A little intimidating for the average guest although I had no problem I can see why one of my colleages felt intimidated by these other guests.

It's a good location, easy to find with plenty of parking. Rooms are clean. Unlike when we have stayed there before, the food was average - in the past when we have stayed here the food has been very good.

Good location for Duxford. Good breakfast and evening meal. A lot of road noise even though the rooms are set well back from the road. Stayed on May 4 and someone had written 21/4/11 in the dust on one of the oak beams in my room.

location for visit to our grandson, in the nearby village.the courtyard a tthe back was pleasant, but road noise prevented sitting out comfortably. No heating in the bedroom on arrival, but we were offered an alternative room- eventually. Location, on a main road, therefore it was noisy. It was more like a motorway motel.badly managed, with grumpy staff(loooking for alternative work).
