The owner was very friendly which made me feel at home. Always there for you. Excellent. Highly recommend
Good value, great breakfast, friendly reception, secure car parking, room TV
Finding the A573 Warrington Road in Wigan a bit tricky
Great rooms great hosts thankyou loved it be back soon
Value for money. Good and secure parking. The bed was comfy if rather small as with the our room and the whole hotel required a lot of updating.A good lick of paint would do the hotel a lot of good. The food at breakfast was 1st class and lots of choice.
Old type mix match furniture in the hotel rooms. did not see reason for 2 computer type chairs in one small room. The toilet and shower area was very small and you had to be quite thin to access the shower.
The staff, breakfast, cleanness and price
It is a 1 star hotel, but in my books it could be a 2! Would stay again.
Clean and cosy. Excellent value for money and lovely staff.
Staff and service
Beds arent the best, but ho hum its the best basic hotel I've stayed in!
Good price for a night stay and friendly staff.
Bed was too hard, lot of noise from street next to window even when closed, no possibility for diner. Bad area of Wigan. Stamp size TV. Slow Wifi. I will never come back again.
It was a clean and tidy budget hotel at a budget price.
Bed was a bit hard as I am used to the body sculpture mattress but my friend found it good and snored all night that's why I gave you a fair in quality of sleep nothing to do with the hotel.
Polite and helpful staff. Nice quiet location with a small private car park. Place is clean and classic. Value for money.
Ensuite was a little crowded, with hardly any space space between the toilet and washing sink.
Cleanliness (fag packet left in drawer in bedroom), decor, smell (mold and stale smoke), dark, old bedding, lumpy mattress, old hard pillows. Awful, awful awful!!
The friendliest, cleanest budget hotel I have stayed in. Was very quiet and had nice touches that other cheaper hotels miss out. Breakfast was really great too.
Bed dreadful Locked out when I arrived after evening match Very tired throughout Couldn't connect to wifi.
I have travel a lot. I know everything from bottom to top from 5* hotel to hostel with no stars in UK. The hotel - Money : top 10 * of 10. Of course I disliked something . But where you can find clean linen, flat screen TV, 3 towels, 4 pillows, armchair, deck, tea , coffee, biscuit, milk, hot power shower, gel, double glass window, secure parking ( with gate close at night time : even Holiday / Premier Inns have no everywhere secure parking ). What else for £29 for a single en-suite room at nowadays ? I so pleased to say thanks the hosts who did hard job for few ££ income. Please accept my respect for everything you did. Thanks a lot. Good Luck !
If I,m staying at 5 * hotel I will be found easily that : swimming pool cold, hears, nails and dust on carpet or under bed's base, bathroom have no enough shower pressure, staff rude and etc. and etc. But you must paid for the 5 * room at least x 5 ! People : When you going to stay places like the Coaching Inn Hotel, please appreciate you paid less for good and quality service + comfortable sleep at night ! Thanks.
clean good wifi friendly ample secure parking
a bit dated could do with a more flexible check in
The location, the owner/managers gave the Coaching Inn Hotel a very personal atmosphere. I love old coaching inns like this. I'd certainly stay there again.
Nothing, but some areas could do with a bit of TLC
Clean, very friendly staff value for money
Could do with an update
breakfast was very good staff welcoming and helpfull bed comfortable secure car park would use again
a little bit tired on the decoration front otherwise no problem
no longer hot breakfast included unless you paid extra
The building had real character. I would certainly consider coming back here if I had business in Wigan again.
Nothng of importance. Nearer the railway station would have been nice but the 12 to 15 minute walk to Ince station was not really a problem.
Breakfast top quality
Secure parking, nice welcome, clean comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, no rowdy groups
Some road noise
The English Breakfast
Nice bar & pool table
Clock radio didn't work
Good value for money. Looks tired but clean, warm, friendly and functional.
Looks very tired and in need of some refurbishment. WIFI availability was a little intermittent but when working was good.
