The noise of seagulls raiding the rubbish skips at the back of the hotel, in the early hours. |

The Cobo Bay Hotel catered for all of our needs and the service was there if needed but if not, we were left alone to enjoy our holiday. It would have been good to have a refridgerator in the room. Also there was a flight of stairs that we had to negotiate and was an inconvience for a family with a young child who needed to have a pushchair. |

Very nicely refurbished guest room and bath to a high standard. Quiet room as it was to the back (so no view of course). A very nice touch to get a plate of fruit upon arrival in the room. Bright and lovely dining room - with excellent food, friendly and accommodating serving staff - and in the reception/check-in, and a great location on Guernsey; all in all a very pleasant surprise. The corridors were a bit dark - even when the lights came on, and no view of the sea from our room (which is understandable). As for question below re. website review, we did not read any so cannot reply to question; suggest you allow for a "N/A" |

Beautiful views of sea from front rooms, helpful staff and excellent food On noisy road. Felt there should have been a discount for two single travellers travelling together but in two different rooms. Was astronomically expensive for 2 of us for one week in rooms side by side. |

Sea view was great and staff great. Food very good and hotel just redone so all was new. TV was giving problems and also had problem with veranda door not closing properly and also lights in bathroom a problem. Door was fixed but lights in bathroom not. TV worked well the day I left.Teething problems as all was new. Staff were very helpfull though in trying to sort out problems. |
