The staff is very professional and in the same time very friendly. There was a problem with our booking, but the staff and hotel organization was very good and was able to handle the problem. Overall the room was very clean and well furnished. The location of the hotel is strategic and very convenient.
location shower clean on arrival
tiny room Lights flickered in room room never cleaned in 3 nights we stayed
the location was perfect for me , everything was in a walking distance: train station , town centre, shops etc. The room in a basement was a bit odd, however it probably saved me to hear noises during the night from the outside, when party people are going home from the clubs. It was definitely good value for the price
I had no chance to eat, there were no options to have any food but obviously the price didn't include anything about the food and as I said it was a value price. I also missed the window especially on a Sun morning but again the room was quiet and I had not heard anything from the outside
Location was great! Staff were really nice as well
Rooms were very small.. Lack of space
I would recommend staying here, reasonable price and near centre of town all walking distant. Staff were friendly
Front of hotel could be better decorated but inside room and hallway were lovely. So don't let the outside put you off staying here
We travelled with another couple and all of us are satisfied with our stay here. Lovely furnished rooms which are worth the money though I think it could be very hot in there in summer. Just a 5mins walk to the city centre so a good place to stay when you want to visit Liverpool or become a part of its nightlife. It was just great, thank you!
No room window
A lovely location near Hardman St, Philharmonic Hall and University Campus, really convenient. Friendly staff, nice room facilities.
The staff at the cocoon were extremely friendly and helpful. The value for money was excellent and only 5 minutes walk into the very centre of Liverpool. Would definitely return :)
cost of this accommodation is great. stayed in the pod rooms downstairs. only a short walk to the bars. staff cheerful and helpful - good place for stags and hens or someone on a budget.
room needed a coat of paint. ventilation could be better.
Good value, room was bigger than I had expected
Facilities were very basic but fine for one night
Location was great...shower was lovely...well worth the money...
Room had no windows which was OK but it was really hot in there while we were getting ready to go out...
Good central location. Good value for money
The only problem I had was the heat of the room which wasn't overly warm but would have prefered it to be cooler. but apart from that I couldn't complain.
Pleasant accomodation with nicely laid out bedrooms which included a flat screen TV and an IPod base the bathroom was clean and tidy with shampoo shower gel etc.
The only problem I had was the fact there are no windows in the cocoon part of the Hotel, apart from that it was ideal.
Everything you need for a decent stay at a cheap price. Conveniently placed just head up Bold street keep going past the church up the road and the 2nd road off on the left. Rooms were nice and peaceful, good quality bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, TV with freeview and tea and coffee.
Only negatives and these are just personal preferences are the mirrors either side of the bed. Also when checking out the lift was out of order so had to use the stairs. That's not a problem for me but could be for people with a lot of luggage as the stairwell is narrow
Rooms nice, staff very good, left luggage very handy. Close to main shops, great location.
Cheap, good central location, rooms much bigger than expected
TV didn't work but was not an issue for me as I was out most of the time
location was ok
damp smell noisy music
Was there 3 nights Room never cleaned Bin not emptied Had to ask for clean towels and Toilet roll!
it was quiet
too far from city centre if you have mobility probs
Alright location close to bars, restaurants and shopping. Staff helpful and friendly.
Room was a bit musty and walls thin so I was woken by people coming home during the night.
Reasonable price during the British Open
The room is in the basement and there is no window nor ventilation.
The bed was comfortable amazing shower and clean rooms. Very friendly Irish staff. Good value for money.
Basement rooms but for one night it was fine would not recommend for any longer if you like a view .
