The owner went out of is way to make you feel welcome the room was spotless plenty of tea + coffee facilities, clean towels and because we were meeting friends the owner gave us a key to let ourselves in when we returned.
could not fault anything wrong
What a nice place to stay could not of made me and my brother more welcome. Will defently book with when I go back in February.
Location is fantastic very easy to find, brilliant value for money, good host and clean room
It did smell quite highly of smoke throughout the b&b (not the room)and the conservatory where you have breakfast could be a little bit more well kept.this is nothing against our stay it's just things that could be improved on,especially the smell of smoke.
Witty and knowledgeable host who provided very helpful information about local area and attractions. Comfortable room and quiet location. Easy to find.
Both days of our visit, hot water for a morning shower was not available until we asked for help from our host and he fixed the problem.
location,close to town and pubs
smoking smell in the room. could have been cleaner, lots of dust.
Good location and the welcome by the owners dog.
Toast is not my idea of a continental breakfast
Friendly helpful service
Very clean spacious room. Comfy bed. Godfrey the owner is friendly, helpful and amiable
Location was nice (very close to the nature reserve)... Friendly staff,l
Continental breakfast was boring
Near enough to the town centre
Checking-in time between 4 and 7 rather restricting
I would definitely recommend here for people to stay! A very comfortable and home away from home feel to it!!
Clean tidy friendly
We missed having a cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast was toast, cereal and yogurt....
Booked this accommodation at short notice but Godfrey had everything ready when we arrived even a joke or three. It was easy to find and in short walking distance to the pubs and town which was great when heading out for dinner and to explore.
Having to park away from the B and B.
we found godfrey easy going and helpful made you feel comfortable cant fault the stay,if we are ever down that way again will definatly book again
Sympathetic host; good breakfast (surcharge for English); central location, easy parking in front of the house
Right on a main road; bathroom very small and poorly ventilated
Comfortable bed, very clean
Nothin to not like
Very friendly,good food.will use again,if in area
Great location, walking distance to everything you need. dog friendly, chatty friendly host "in person"
Although now non smoking the premesis must previously have allowed smokers... The place stinks of smoke and left all of our clothes smelling of smoke for the remainder of our trip. Lacking some bits n bobs: Tea towels and some toiletries would have been nice Geoffrey is very nice in person but can be quite blunt on e-mails, the lack of a late check in past 7.30pm was forbidden, despite paying before arrival we were told if you arrive after 7.30 your not coming in! which given cardigan's travel times from most uk towns is a little tight. Perhaps an external lock box with a key code for late arrivals could be a way round this.?
Friendly welcoming host. Nice clean room.
No soap in shower and should have been a spare toilet roll. Breakfast adequate but would have liked a croissant or crusty roll.
Godfrey was/an excellent host, lovely man lovely house.
Smell of smokers in common areas
Godrey was lovely and very helpful
Very friendly and efficient host!
Quiet and close to the city centre
