nice friendly welcome on arrival very well equipped cabins good location with excellent views hot tub to die for would definitely recommend a stay here in these lovely cabins
absolutely nothing to complain about
Couldn't fault anything
Beautiful location Hot tub was amazing Staff were attentive clean and luxurious accomodation
Shower pressure wasn't great and caused extreme temperature fluctuations Smoke alarm in kitchen went off twice for no apparent reason. It's really loud.
Peaceful and secluded location
Very neat and clean. Spacious cottage with all facilities such as bbq and hot tub. Good place to unwind.
Intermittent wifi. Spider webs in outside furniture.
As we were with a baby it wasn't the best place because walking with the buggy was difficult and the roads around it are so small that we didn't feel safe to take her on walks, however, there were lots of things to do in the log cabin and we took the car into llangollen and walked there which was perfect for us! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and it is so peaceful there! The hot tub was amazing and the cabin was spotless and finished to a high standard! Balconies and views spectacular! I would definitely come back!!!! Thank you to the Davies family!!!!!!
we liked the peace and quiet, and the use of a hot tub also the children had their own space up stairs with games and a private balcony. if the kids are happy then we are.
The location was brilliant, right next to the river. The lodge was well kitted out. The hosts were very friendly.
The relaxation was amazing fantastic location . Nice walking distance to the local pub
Everything. Hot tub was amazing, cabin was amazing, location was fantastic. Couldn't fault anything about it.
The owners are very welcoming, the setting is very peaceful and it is in a lovely location. Very well equipped and the cabins are beautifully decorated. The hot tub is amazing!!
Poor score on the Wi-Fi as this was not available but to me it was a god send to get away from work!!
This was by far the best weekend we have ever had in the UK. The surrounding scenery is amazing. Everything is there that you need or can think of you might need. Everything in the cabin is of the best quality. Everything was super clean. We also took the steam train to Llangollen. The station is about 5 min walk from the cabin. Must do.
There is wi-fi available but the connection is not good. Blinds in the downstairs bed room is very light and do not block out the early morning sunshine so if the sun is up you wake up but we just put blanket over the window the next evening and all was sorted. :) Still loved our stay :)
The views and the tranquillity of the area made it a relaxing holiday.
Beautiful setting and the log cabins were clean, comfortable and cosy. We made good use of the hot tub which was lovely!
Fantatic hosts and location. Excellent value for money
Wonderful location, fantastic views across the hills watching the lambs running across the green fields... :) Cabin had everything you need "just like home from home" Hot tub was the icing on the cake. Was so relaxing.
Hot tub could do with a canopy over it for when its raining.
Great location, friendly, helpful owners. Cabin was well equipt and hot tub was icing on cake
Best hot tub ever been in!
Shower ran hot and cold.
Lodge was fantastic, location was excellent, would recommend.
I never ever leave reviews for places when I stay but this place is amazing. I came here with my boyfriend, 6 month old baby, an another couple who are family. We had an amazing time here, the log cabin is gorgeous! Never seen anything like it in my life. Looking over the river Dee was so lovely! We will be returning to this place at least twice a year!
There was nothing at all we didn't like!
wonderful, relaxing experience. Enjoyed the views, the hot tub and the cabin. The owners were very welcoming. will definitely go again.
The scenic location and facilities surpassed expectations. The hot tub was a particular favourite. The staff who showed us into the cabins were polite and friendly. The proximity to Chirk castle for Wales Rally GB was as expected. Could not fault either the service or facilities, the cabin was immaculate with stunning views, comfortable beds and adequate heating. Would absolutely visit again.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
The family who owned the cabin were lovely and helpful. The cabin was absolutely amazing with stunning views. The location was ideal for access to all of the different tourist attractions.
The cabin was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and the Davies family are wonderful and welcoming. The views from the cabin are breath taking and the river gives it a certain charm. We loved popping out for walks to explore the countryside and the kids enjoyed every minute. The hot tub is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here! Will definitely return in warmer weather!!
