First class food and made to feel welcome .clean rooms would stay again but at the rear of the property.

Road traffic noise when window was opened. It is a personal thing as i live on a very quiet road .

Hazel and Charlie, lovely couple and so accommodating. The situation of the guest house is right at the top of the town close to the station, making it an ideal spot for travelling, the shops and the beach. We were staying to attend a wedding and Hazel made a point of coming out to see us all "scrubbed up". We had a key to come and go as we pleased, even though we returned around 1am. Would def recommend and stay here again.

The full Scottish breakfast was excellent, set us up for the day ahead. Quite even though it was on a main road. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed the houses atmosphere and Charlie was very welcoming. The proximity to the train station was also perfect as the journey to Ayr had taken almost six hours so it was nice to not have to walk too far.

Great welcoming tea and biscuits and the breakfast was worth the stay alone. Only ten minute walk from lots of choice restaurants, we would definitely stay again.
