Couldn't believe how good it was for the price of the room!!
WiFi Value for money
Our room smelt not nice.
Capets very worn, room shabby
Breakfast choice very poor only 3 hot items to choose from apart from toast
Not quite as images shown!! Bathroom decor needs addressing.
location suited our work location
the facilities and hotel
Easy to park
Sparse furniture and decor, no facility to charge meals or drinks to final bill, no newspaper, poor breakfast, demoralised and insufficiently skilled staff
Customer service excellent from staff in all areas, could not be faulted.
Minimal cooked breakfast presented cold at 8.00am. Items reheated in microwave - declined breakfast and cancelled breakfast element of our stay arrangement. (not charged for the meal that we did not have). Evening dining we did not eat at hotel due to what we considered to be poor choice and high cost, plus atmosphere in restaurant dire.
Stayed 2wks due to home improvements. Staff were friendly, value for money. My room was clean and warm so can't ask for more than that. Location perfect for me.
Room was bright and airy
Breakfast was poor the only cooked choice was egg beans or sausage next time we won't pay for such a poor choice of breakfast we will find somewhere local to have a full English
The Staff are excellent in their approach to customers, the hotel although not in the best decorative order give the traveller a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind and the value for money for this type of hotel is unsurpassed.
The downside is the decoration but if it were finer the price would reflect this and for me it would be out of my range.
Breakfast can be a bit better
Coffee very weak
No service to warm outside food, no fridge in room
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and good for the price.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and wifi was unable for 5 out of 7 day's. My husband who has a very keen sense of earring was kept awake by the bathroom fan (which was off, but still made a noise). Told staff but not fixed!
Free wifi. Very quiet.
Carpet rips all over. Food terrible for money. Recommend the pub up the road. 4 x better for the same price
Was located in a quiet place. Staff were friendly and polite and the meals were great.
Room 114 had not been cleaned properly as two wine bottles were wedged between the bed and the bed head. And heating would not work. WiFi was poor only lasting two days of use which was unusable. Food was expensive, too much posh stuff rather than traditional grub.
Good room shower etc: TV good value Esay parking late bar
Clean an tidy staff helpful quiet as in location
Thin walls an floors meant a lot of noise from other guests
rooms lacked a few pictures. Bit too basic.
State of disrepair, lack of facilities, breakfast menu was grossly overpriced for what was offered.
No food available at all Xmas day and Boxing Day , shoestring budget hotel ' reception staff have to bar , and breakfast and reception ,
Godd price; good location; staff were friendly and helpful. I would certainly use this hotel again.
Decor is looking at bit tired; but everything was clean and worked.
The bedroom was lovey and big.i would like to have two chairs and not one.
Would have like English tea. In the bedroom & a packet of biscuits with tea first thing.
