Pleasant atmosphere. 1) Beds far too soft ....perhaps worn out..... 2) Water pressure in bath / shower far too low, disappointing shower. Bathroom light not working on arrival but was replaced within an hour. Lack of travel toiletries in bathroom. Only one bath towel etc, Minor things but they make all the difference.

The hotel is located beside a lake, it felt as if it was in the country hotel but only 4 .5 miles to the city centre. Staff were very good The bed was confortable except it sagged in the middle. Otherwise it was good.

The hotel was very easy to find.. Its very well kept, clean and tidy! Rooms are a decent size and have to say its the best bed iv ever slept in whilst away from home The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was there check in service.. They ask you for a £100 guarantee fee incase u break anythin. At the end of the visit you have to close and pay for your visit to release the money back to your bank which takes 3-5 days depending on your bank!

Friendly staff - especially reception and breakfast staff. Quiet and nice setting - no motorway noise even with the window open If anything finding the hotel was tricky - perhaps with sat nav it would be easier. With perseverance and a trip to Tesco for better directions helped!

It was fine for the price. The room was big enough and soundproof. The breakfast was very good, no one could come away hungry as there was plenty of everything and at an extra cost of 310 per head very good value. We would not have liked to have paid more for the room; we got it at a lower price. Its location was very nondescript. The parking spaces were poor as they were generally only the width of a normal car so many of the spaces were "lost" because people had to use 2 spaces. Also the Hotel was NOT well signed and it was only when you were upon it did you know it was there! The restaurent offered little choice regarding food, very uninteresting though the prices were reasonable. The batheroom was very small, only one person at a time could bve in there really. The shower was tricky to work, my wife strained her back trying to get it working as it was very low in the bath to operate.

Nice bedroom with comfortable bed. Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. Located on a roundabout but almost impossible to find. Not enough signs to help you find it. It took us two hours from Elmstead Market (6 miles away!!) Once on the wrong road it takes ages to get back to where the hotel is located. Would not recommend it for this reason. The restaurant food is adequate but that's all.

Value for money at the time, New Years Eve onwards for three nights Arrived new years eve to be told that no food or room service was available as the party that night was the only way to obtain food. Was directed to nearby pub.

The stay was fine, fairly basic but apart from that it was comfortable enough. When requesting WIFI they indicated it had been out for some time, poor service for travelers/ business people trying to clear a backlog of work.

Location and a soft bed. I could not gain access to my room without the Staff's help due to the door electronic lock being faulty. The bath plug was partly blocked with hair and the extracter fan in the bathroom was clogged with dust.

All Staff were pleasant. Cannot comment on bar or restaurant as we didn't need to use them on this occasion, but they both appeared to be well laid out and comfortable. Good atmosphere whenever we walked through reception. As we said on the card we left at reception you definitely need to renew your mattresses, We were in Room 118 and the mattress was appalling. We were fed up with fighting the 'sag in the middle' all night!! It was a shame as we had no complaints otherwise, The wall paper needed replacing but that is probably the sign of the times. Th answer to the question below is if we were guaranteed a decent mattress we would have no hesitation on returning.
