Everything, chic, fun, smart and very comfortable. Great room, attentive staff, there is nothing we didn't like about this hotel. Oh and the food is to die for! Location is perfect for seeing the sights in Stirling.
Great location, great food.Household and Bar/Restaurant staff polite, efficient and friendly. Thanks to cleaners place is immaculate(Well done Mary).
Location of this hotel is exelent to observe the town and to visit the famous castle. Breakfast was pretty good. The parking place is comfortable.
Our room was very small with a half of the window which we could not leave opened during the night because of the noise. Also we could hear all the visitors coming because the corridor door was just behind our heads. WiFi connection was very unstable.
Beds were comfy, bathroom was spectacular, staff were very helpful and friendly -especially Ryan in the bar.
Room was rather hot at night. Also the sockets were in odd places and not very accessible. The mirror was not newr the socket for the hair dryer for example and we had to move the bedside tables to get to the sockets to plug in our mobile phones.
Staff were brilliant Hotel was new
Nice central location in Stirling.
Noise insulation of the rooms very weak (we could hear the kitchen stuff doing the dishes and listening to the radio until midnight). No HVAC, thus room much too hot. Water temperature of the bath tap could not be properly controlled. WLAN did not work properly.
Overall a great hotel, however given its on the side of the biggest hill in Stirling its great for a good brisk walk, All the amenities for a five star hotel and more, expect the price to rise
Its new so a few teething problems with wardrobe knobs in the wrong place and the parking is absolutely pathetic, no room to turn at the front and if you are of the slightly older persuasion, then this hill is a killer,
I absolutely loved the location of this hotel. Additionally, I found the facilities to be top-notch, including the breakfast, which was lovely. I had one problem with my bathtub not having any hot water, but the manager was quick to arrive and resolve the problem.
Excellent bed! Good parking, city location. Friendly helpful staff. Impressive building.
Newly opened teething problems: patchy internet, unbalanced dining room menu, all solvable. But the designer-chic interior decoration was a bit over the top.
Everyone was helpful and made sure we were looked after.
Trying to find your way to 2nd floor is a challenge.
Large ensuite and room
There was a noise all night, like a fan
Hotel is beautifully decorated, comfortable and luxurious. Staff were all very attentive, friendly and efficient. Location ideal for access to the town centre.
A bottle of water in the room would have been good. Room was slightly narrow and didn't allow for any addtional furniture like a casual chair which would have been nice. Car parking was available, but we did notice some cars appeared to be those of local shoppers and not guests which could have been problematic if the hotel was busier. Maybe something to be monitored. The piped music was rather repetitive in style and maybe not necessary at breakfast, but could well suit other guests.
The staff were excellent. The hotel has just opened after a major conversion of an historic building so there were a few snags but the friendly and helpful staff made the stay memorable
WIFI was unreliable as it had just been installed
The staff are so helpful. The hotel has only just opened following an extensive conversion of a lovely old building so there inevitably a few snags but it's a terrific hotel with brilliant staff
WI-FI wasn't always working. As the hotel had only been open for a week or so it was a new connection which I'm sure will be resolved in time
