Very clean. Comfortable beds. Like being in a museum with knick knacks everywhere.

Tea & coffee in room undrinkable I think it was due to the milk?

Big room, Very good bathroom. Located on a hill, but there is a busstop close by. Not in the noisy centre. The leisure centre with a big swimmingpool is next door. Not a real quiet room, we had one on the road side, but not too busy on sleeping hours. Big lounge with t.v. and microwave, plates and cutlery you could use.

    The house is amazing!

The pillows and the mattress and the fact that someone else's hair was on the tiles in the shower. They need to stop the doors from shutting too quickly and banging.

Great hospitality, comfort and cleanliness of room. Colin and Pauline very happy to help always with anything we needed. The breakfast was great also, with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend for others to stay here.

The breakfast was perfect, the best one I had in a hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was charming.

The curtains didn't avoid the light from outside... And I am used to sleep in a dark environment. Unable to connect to the wifi inside the room.

I have visited this guest house several times for my work. It is centrally located and offers good value for money. I find the proprietors very helpful and obliging and they are full of local knowledge which they willingly share. The breakfast is particularly hearty with locally sourced products...so local in fact that the eggs come from the chickens in the garden!

Very well located from my viewpoint - leisure centre opposite £3 for a swim a good gastro pub (10% discount if staying at CG House) within walking distance. Good wifi, helpful friendly staff, generous breakfast included, clean - recommended

    No complaints

The breakfast was sufficient and well cooked.

The mattress was clearly very old, with the coiled springs causing much discomfort. The mattress had a plasticised protective cover, which was noisy and made me feel sweaty. The curtains were thin and let through the street lights. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. Despite being retired folk, we were not offered any assistance in taking our luggage up the two flights of stairs to our dormer room.
