The owner welcomed us to his hotel and I could not fault the way we were looked after during our stay. The Hotel was clean the breakfast was very good the location was quiet and the hosts very friendly.
Unfortunately Blackpool did not inspire me and my partner to want to go back again but I would recommend the hotel to anyone going there. Saying that, the bed that I slept in had a problem with it's mattress as there were springs going in every direction and occasionly poking in the wrong places!!
Friendly obliging staff. Quiet location but with good public transport connections to centre of Blackpool. Freshly cooked English breakfast.
Nothing. But don't confuse with another Collingwood Hotel not far away on the Promenade.
Breakfast General staff service Comfortable bed Cleanliness-beddings, bathroom, tea cups & spoons in the room
it was difficult to access wi-fi
Breakfast was excellent
The owner was very friendly and made each guest feel at home, lovely breakfast, nice and clean , own parking was a real bonus .
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Free Parking. Easy to Find. Tasty Breakfast
Nothing, Had a Brilliant Stay, will stay again and recommend to friends.
Spotless, friendly hotel. Good value with excellent breakfast. Easy parking outside, and handy for trams and buses.
Real warm , friendly , excellent place . Staff wonderful Will return again very soon
Place was 1st class All that let us down was the weather
Great staff in a good location. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained.
Service and meals were excellent
Mattress although good quality needed to be replaced
Staff were lovely polite and helpful great location nice and quiet but no to far from the centre
Wifi couldn't reach undertstandable at the top
The owners were very good and welcoming. We reached 4 hours prior to our check-in time but like other hotels they didnt asked us to wait till 2 for check-in.
Enjoyed another fine stay, with Pat and Christine who are lovely friendly people. Christine does all of the cooking herself and makes a beautiful breakfast. Near to a tram and bus stop so even though it is on the outer North side of Blackpool we did not find this a hinderence, in fact we liked it more as had free car parking and was much quieter than the town.
We did not have any faults with this hotel.
Friendly welcome, great price, lovely breakfast, clean and comfortable room which was very spacious. Free parking included. Very good value for money. Would return. A little out of the way, but tram stop close by so not a problem
Breakfast 8.30 - 9.30, would like a little later and also a later check out time (10.30)
warm and welcoming both the place and owners, food excellent.
rooms need updating a bit,
What did I like? Everything! The warm and friendly welcome, the fabulous freshly cooked breakfast, the quality bed linen, the very comfy bed, and the clean bathroom. Good quality coffee in the bedroom and plenty of milk. I’ll definitely be staying here again.
They were a lovely couple and made you feel very welcome and we would go again.
Pat and Christine the owner/operators were absolutely brilliant, made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Rooms are warm and cosy and the breakfast sensational. I would definitely stay again
Clean comfortable room Hosts very friendly and welcoming Good tasty breakfast Great value for money
Convenient for the seafront and worth the money.
The good 'welcome' by the owners AND the poached egg with breakfast!!!
The room went cold during the night; yes it was a windy night but the owners should have turned the thermostat up. Going for a walk on Saturday morning, I called in at the Savoy = cheaper (on the day) and may have been warmer?
Pat and Chris were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Rooms were clean and warm.
Rooms could do with a bit of a makeover. Wifi although free didn't work very well.
Friendly proprietor. Very good breakfast. Very well priced. Convenient location.
Room a little tired and a bit cramped. Somewhat damp bathroom. Serious hum on the TV which was itself pretty antiquated but that's of no real matter.
This is not a hotel it is a B/B, over rated and over price , it is not A 4 star at best A 2 star
