meal was excellent, very comfy bed.
Great value for money! Not a bad word to say
Staff pleasant privacy
Minor damage to mirror in bathroom
Bar brasserie, a spacious room, is very cold, could do with more radiators! However, food excellent!!
Rooms were very clean, and bed extra comfortable. Lovely friendly, polite staff. Close to City centre
Bathroom was on small side but adequate for 2 night stay. Macnabs bar was bit draughty because of close location to front door, and it was cold and snowing on this visit.
Good for city shopping
Can't think of anything
it is central near the town, shops and restaurants.
Very comfortable room, spotless. Exceeded expectations considering the amazing price. Superb location.
Couple of things needing attention. Missing knob on wardrobe, blocked basin. Nothing major and certainly wouldn't deter us from returning.
Great friendly service and good food with good prices
Lovely location on River Ness. Lovely walk along riverside. Can easily have a drink or meal in town and walk back.
Very friendly staff, lovely comfortable room. Nice bar area
Parking was the only problem
The receptionist (young female) was excellent. As was the tall gentleman on reception and breakfast - and both went out of their way to help. The Hotel was in an excellent location, and the room was fine.
The bed was rather squeaky, and the shower was poor - though the bath was fine.
Location is quite good
The reception staff was quite unfriendly. She thinks other cant understand english while herself had a strong accent
Central location at a good price, nice breakfast.
Clothes storage inadequate and room heating uncontrollable, with draft from window, expensive bar prices in Macnabs.
Nice hotel. Very central. Lovely view of castle. Staff were nice. Good breakfast. Comfy bed
no parking facilities. For being 4 star did expect a shower that didn't keep losing its pressure. Quite a small room. No food served out with gala dinner which was fully booked although they did notify us
For some reason we got an upgrade which was good. The bar was nice with friendly staff. Location was good with it being 5 mins walk from CC.
The hotel room was freezing and with it being on a busy route was very loud with many walking around early causing lots of noise. The breakfast choice was very good however the hot food was not "hot", with most items luke warm, and alot of items had clearly been left lying out for a while and had dried up. Disppointing.
This was the second time staying this month it's fair in comfort .staff are very good and helpful
The food for breakfast was a let down.contenntal was of poor standard old prunes tined, grapefruit was as old as the hills and continental meats =only salami and the water melon lookt like it was three days old .and the cooked breakfast was cooked with now care there was no ketup or brown save to be seen had to ask for it from the kitchen.it felt like its only breakfast so way bother..but it's your last impression before paying your bill.and it was a bad impression
The location and the price in comparison with the others. It had a lovely lounge with board games and a lovely atmosphere.
The room was a bit dark and the light during night was not pleasant at all. The walls were a bit thin.
Location, river view room, large room, friendly staff, quick check in, Restraunt and bar option for food or drink
Cold in bar area, few things in room which could benefit from repair or tidy but didn't really bother us
By accident I had left some of my stuff in the drawer of my room. I contacted the hotel who were very understanding and they had posted my stuff on to me. Which I appreciated very much.
Lovely location and views, friendly staff.
Bar a bit open plan and not very cosy. Bathroom could have done with refurbishment.
The price and location were good.
No available parking and the double was two singles so not the comfiest.
We loved the location of the hotel. We paid a reasonable amount for a hotel.
We did not like the bathroom it was dated . We would not have been happy if we were paying the full room rate.
