The view from my room was dismal overlooking a dirty courtyard and grotty buildings, also the room was very small. There was also a lot of noise from the rooms above due to creaking floorboards.

The bed was comfortable. I was not impressed with the hot breakfast or choice of buffet; many things had run out.

Location is great, all other.. See negative The hotel is tired with the main problem of soundproof - you can not sleep well because of many noises from the adjacent rooms and the corridor

Hotel is located near train/bus station up to 10 min walk just across the bridge over river Ness, what was very convenient when traveling by public transport The hotel is very pretty old-fashioned building. The room was spacious and clean, felt luxurious. 24 hrs service, night porter. The hotel is fairly big. Breakfast was pretty good, great choice, warm plates. Good set menu for a dinner [£20 pp], fairly good value. Specious bar, serving food too, if not fancy a fancy dinner. You could not open window in bathroom nor bedroom. Walk through long corridors to get to the room. The price for two people almost same as for solo traveller [£118vs£128]
