Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is has lots of character, nothing like the big chain hotels. Would recommend.

Excellent friendly staff throughout. Great value. Good food. Excellent relaxed (not rowdy) friendly atmosphere in hotel bar. Breakfast included in price and again very good. Would return again with no hesitation. If I had to criticise anything it would be that the walls between our room and the neighbouring one was a bit thin & i could plainly hear another couple talking. Meal portions were just about right, though could have done with a few more chips with my steak ;)

The warm greeting we always receive from thre receptionist and the excellent service in the restaurant. It is a tribute to the hotel managment that staff remain with them for so long. We were disappointed to return from the theatre at 10.50pm to find the bar closed and the lack of opportunity to have a night cap, especially as this was a Friday.

We stayed at Colwall for our wedding anniversary. The food was out of this world and the room was comfortable and clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The waiter was incredibly courteous and charming. The receptionist who checked us out was very apologetic about our experiences. Our room was unfortunately very small and the bathroom rather dirty. It was unfortunate that a pair of elephants with very loud laughs who wanted to party until 3am were in the room above us. The sound proofing could be improved. The food was not as good as we had hoped of a 2 rosette restaurant.

“We had an excellent stay from the moment we arrived the staff were efficient and very friendly . We were given a free upgrade to a beautiful room in the pinnacles with breathtaking views and every thing you could possibly want including lots of little extras including an emergency kit and free bottled water . The restuarant lived up to its reputation with great food , wonderful service but not in a stuffy way- the duo of Brulees was to die for . The only thing that was missing was the possibility of having a bar meal rather than a full service dinner but having said that it is a wonderful place for a break and we will be visiting again in the spring. ” Lisa, Little Canfield |

“It was only a flying visit - but - from what I saw I would like to go back. The hotel was in a fantastic location, minutes from Great Malvern and its abbey, was a beautiful building and had a feeling of calm and homely grandeur. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and it was lovely to be greeted by their gorgeous dog !” Dorothy, Solihull |
