This character filled building located in a quite village in rural Herefordshire could do with some investment to make it something special. Service was average possible due to the fact that it was a sleepy Sunday afternoon when we arrived. The Sunday night offer was great value and the bar food was of a good quality. As with many hotels the quality of the real ale left a lot to be desired. In all worth the visit but it just seems a shame that it is not a place to return to time after time which it could be with a little more attention and money. |

The greeting was warm and friendly and the restaurant was excellent, very good international standard food. The bar was lively on a Sunday night which was nice. The pictures make it look as though it is in the middle of fields/park whereas it is actually in a village centre, not noisy or anything but no great views out of the windows. |

The hotel was clean and some of the staff friendly and helpful We were disappointed that at £120 per room we only had a shower, for a hotel that caters for walkers it would have been nice to have a long soak after a day's walking. The building itself is starting to show its age and some areas were a little 'musty'. Not all the staff were friendly - the restaurant was average and the main waiter overpowering. |

The drive to the hotel was very pretty and the location was convenient. We also liked the free internet access, although it took several attempts to pick up the wireless "password". Price of restaurant and limited menu encouraged us to eat elsewhere. Nothing wrong with this hotel - it's just not our taste. |

Convenient location for a trip to Malvern Hotel tried to charge £40 over the Booking.com rate. Quickly fixed though. A dead was was on the plate decorating the dinner table. When pointed out, the waiter just emtied it onto the floor. It was still there at breakfast time. |

A relaxed atmosphere, superb food and easygoing helpful staff. A hotel of style and comfort with no pretentiousness. Excellent. I wish I could afford to stay for longer. The food/drinks are priced reasonably (and delicious) but the B&B rate is much too expensive for my budget. Sadly, I can only afford 1 night! |

The hotel is set in a lovely setting/area; very peaceful and quiet. The signal for you mobile phone however it is understandable due to the surrounding mountains and hills. I noticed that the menu looked rather expensive so had a bar meal which was also expensive for a sandwich. |
