Colwall Park - Hotel, Bar & Restaurant  

Great staff who looked after us extremely well. Lovely setting. Pleasant comfortable rooms. Good food and really impressed at how quickly breakfast was served in the morning when we needed to get away promptly. All in all excellent service and will definitely book again and recommend to others.

Every member of staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn,t do enough to make our stay a very happy experience

The hotel was warm and welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated and beautifully clean. The staff were professional and nothing was too much trouble.

Architecture and history - Dame Laura Knight the artist used part of it as a studio. Would like to have seen exactly where she painted.

Room was a tad 'tired' - needed a re-paint of the walls and a new carpet.

Interior design and fabrics lovely, Upstairs lounge very comfy. Bar nice ambience and food good.

No duvets is a problem to us.

We could hear the conversation and the television in the next room. The room and bathroom were inadequately heated and the bed was too small.

Originally they kindly upgraded us to a luxury bedroom ,but surprisingly there was no bath-only a shower. we reverted to original smaller room which had a bath, but the most uncomfortable bed either of us has ever slept in!!. very tired as a result.

Very helpful staff. Brilliant food. Comfortable beds. Well designed rooms.

We are 80 tears of age. There was no-one to help us with our luggage. The friendly Receptionist searched the hotel and found one of the Kitchen staff who helped us. Again, although we understand that the character of the building must be preserved, not having a lift was hard work!!

The room was pleasant and comfortable, but overlooked the road. The first floor residents' lounge was quiet, private, comfortable; ideal after dinner for relaxing. The complimentary canapes before dinner were appreciated.

The photograph on the hotel website gave the impression the hotel was well away from the road surrounded by its own grounds...it was not, although the gardens at the rear were attractive. This didn't spoil our stay, but it was unexpected, and we wondered from where the picture was taken! Perhaps a more realistic view should be advertised?

We found the staff very polite and friendly,and very much enjoyed the quality of our evening meal and breakfast.We would happily stay again.

The restaurant food & staff were outstanding!!! Far greater than we expected! The bedrooms are a littlebit tired & reflected a very different view to what the hotel was!!! (Which was a shame)! The lounge needed light music, as you could hear individual conversations , as did the restaurant! Wonderful staff , fantastic food!!

Furniture inthe rooms were tired ( I don't mean old) glass on mirrors marked!

We enjoyed our stay but unfortunately my husband was not well. We hope to return again.

It had a very nice room, bar and restaurant the food was very good.

As a mature couple we appreciated the first class service, friendliness, nothing was too much trouble. The standard of the cuisine was superb, with a large variety of foods. The service in the restaurant was faultless, and of a very high standard. Beds were comfortable, and rooms had plenty of cupboard space. The quiet, peaceful atmosphere was a real rest cure. The Hotel's situation near to a single line railway staion giving transport into Birmingham and other venues was extremely convenient, and its proximity to the foot of the Malvern Hills gave acess to hill walking without having to travel by car - altogether ideal for us. Plenty of parking space, and lovely gardens.

suspected food poisoning from restaurant! They attributed this to "summer flu". We disagree. Would not recommend.

Friendly hotel with excellent staff and good service. Food and wine excellent quality. Quiet despite being on the main road through the village. Close to Malvern Hills and lovely views
