a lovely couple that ran it, were there 24/7 for anything, went out of there way to make us welcome, a friendly, family environment, rooms were so comfortable, had everything we needed, location was off main road, and chaos of nightlife, but 2min from everything, ideal location, great night sleep, and access 24/7 if we wanted to go out, cooked full breakfast, couldnt have asked for a better stay, we're going back soon

The roomwas very clean and comfortable the breakfast was the best of 2011 Being told by I pressume the owner what I could and couldnt do eg if you want to meet anybody I had to do it by arrangement and nobody is allowed in the rooms I was visiting elderly relatives whilst working away and would be dissapointed if they had wanted to meet at the hotel prior to eating out locally etc felt that it didnt need saying just because the 3 rooms we booked were all male occupied ! !

The Comat is a lovely, friendly place. My room was spotless. There was such a lovely fresh smell of the bed clothes and towels, something you don't usually enjoy in a hotel. The hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was included in my rate and was lovely. Free internet access, tv in lounge as well as bedrooms, lounge has a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Im not one for posting feedback but in the Comats case I will make the exception.... This was a last minute get away for myself & my two boys aged 7 & 11. Welcoming, friendly, clean, warm, just off the seafront so not too busy but just a minute walk to the seafront. Breakfast was fantastic, thankyou. Great value for money & we will be returning for a longer stay. (maybe even out of season) Parking is an issue but the owners of the B&B explain parking restrictions & available parking near by.

I like the Comat for it private and spacious room, the cleanlessness and the fact the staff were friendly and accommodating. This is not a complaint but to let you aware that the shower cubicle was a tiny too small. It was not spacious enough for me to have a shower without banging on the sides or bending down to wash my feet. A larger person than myyself would find it more difficult to enjoy their shower.

The Comat is a very nice small hotel/B&B.We stayed in the Superior Family Room, which was very comfortable & clean..Great Location & a very nice, freshly cooked breakfast. The images of the room that we stayed in indicated that there is a four poster bed, however there wasn't when we stayed......not a problem at all for us, but it is worth checking if that is important to you.

Near to the seafront. Very dated. If your a fan of dried flowers and chintz then this is for you. I hunted every drawer for a hairdryer but didnt find one. Shower and bathroom very small, my 5ft 11" partner said it was for an anorexic teenager! When I put my toiletries on the shelf they fell off as the shelf was hanging off. Staff hospitable, but surroundings were too dated for us, I felt like I had been transported back in time.

Very nice room, lounge, dining room and breakfast. Excellent location and relatively quiet road. Shower very poor in our family room ensuite bathroom - low flow and erratic temperature (either very hot or very cold). We pointed this out to the owner on departure and he was unaware of the problem and said he would look in to it.

The choice and quality of the breakfast. A proper shower would have been nice but the bathroom otherwise was of a very good standard.
