was't hot water in room
poor cleaning. found spider on my bed.had to mange situation by myself. kkettle was dirty .had to change.
bathroom in good condition compared to the rest of the room bed sheets were well used, but clean.
Furniture and carpets in poor state of repair and require to be replaced, many broken or scorched. remote control had been melted, the lights didn't work. carpets and wall had several stains and marks on them
Very friendly and polite.
This hotel should not be opened! It was disgusting and that's to much of a nice word! There was damp in my room it was completely falling apart! Vile!!!!
Low cost, reasonably clean
Extremely poor quality of workmanship of any repairs, refurbishments, improvements, and maintenance which led to much amusement and unfortunately ruined some of the effort that had been put in to improve the hotel.
Locations good Price is fair Beds comfortable Warm On suites good
Everytime I sat back on the bed the electric went off Noise from the extractor fans was real bad Still booked in again
Location and parking
Very poor comfort old bed linen and shabby room. Broken window old carpet unfinished works.
good location, value for money
*low rates *decent sized rooms *located just off Hagley road - easy commute with at least 4 buses on the route through *clean though not appealing to the eye *sell snacks on the ground floor *24 hour reception
*no wi-fi signal throughout the whole hotel, and if one wants to use it they would need to pay £5/day *most of the rooms cannot be locked from inside *windows in some rooms are broken and cannot be locked which adds to sense of insecurity
Old room, Peeling walls, Poor TV connection, Unclean
The quality of customer service
- unless you are blind and have no sense of smell do not stay here - hallways stank of curry and cigarette smoke - first room I was given had mould, broken tv, broken shower, broken cupboards, overall dingy - second room I was given was half the size with broken furniture and dirty walls - I wanted a refund as it's clearly not like any of the pictures but insisted they had to charge me for 2 nights minimum
staff were friendly and room was clean
very tatty and in need of redecorate. as there was a wedding on it was very noisy all through the night.
Bathroom was nicely decorated but the toilet wasn't cleaned
So smelly in the hall ways, I was literally nearly sick!..the room didn't smell but there was damp stains all over the ceiling and no blinds on the window and also the window seemed to be open and there was a draft in the room coming from the window even though it was closed..freezing!
staff very polite
soiled carpet black substance, also broken drawer, lights above bed not working.
The chance to change rooms!
Unfriendly chek in! Given rooms that walls were bashed drawers smashed taps moving on sink so floor would get wet! Smell of smoking & cigarrette buts on window ledges. Did not look like rooms on picture on the internet. Impression the first rooms we were given looked as though they were allocated to the social housing badly run down ! Information brochures out of date!! Would not reccommend this hotel at all !
dirt, no bar, no restaurant, cold room cold shower filthy
First room - lights didn't work Second room - unmade bed/dirty bedsheets Third Room - Shower didn't work Evening staff were not helpful and didn't seem too want to help, morning lady was much more helpful. Room was cold, bed very small, exposed wiring in plug sockets and tv aerial, whole place needs a good scrub and fresh lick of paint.
Everything Bed was uncomfortable tucked away in a corner next to the broken wardrobe. No central heating, little electric heater. Room was freezing. Bathroom was smelly, dirty towels. Shower screen didn't even move, forced it open To have a shower. It was Stuck with mould. All night i can hear the water running through the pipes. My stay was horrible. Didn't sleep well.
The hotel was that bad I had my room changed after being in the 2nd room I decided to return home the bed was not even level and this was a suite which they class as a quality room.
Poor service, had to pay for wi-fi, dirty, noisy location for room on main road.
Cheap Free-view TV
Cold Drafts through Window and bathroom fans. Lights not Working Exposed Cables Noise level from Outside Low Shower pressure (more like dripping..) Bad Service
there was work being done to the hotel the carpets in the hall out side our room where very dusty. to many rules. the hotel rules ruined our weekend away!!!!
