Where too start filthy, fire hazards all over the place, workmen hammering at 07:30 laying carpets in the corridor right outside the room, the hot water was luke warm, no room number on the door. This hotel is under going refurbishment and should be closed until it is finished.

fair for the price iv paid but can be better with the time to check in. The rooms I stay in was not what I expected. the walls was covered in plaster that I can see. the remote contol for the tv I could not find. A spoon for a cup of tea was missing, and the room was to hot to sleep in due to the heating and I ask a member of staff to turn off the heating in my room but they never did.

There was major refubishment going on while we were there. We had to walk over paint covered material as workmen were busy on the walls. The twin room was in a completely different part of the hotel to the double room. My parents room was in a suitable condition, although the room had no door number on it, a large section of the one wall was peeling and dressing table was broken. In the twin room, although the decor was more modern...the lights in the room did not work, the tv did not work and was hanging rather strangely from the bracket on the wall. And there was no hot water in the night time to bath/shower. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor stay here again myself.

Location Free parking Staff attempting to be helpful Size of the rooms Small fridge in the rooms Nice bathrooms No hot water for the duration of my stay (2 nights) Staff unable to resolve the problem despite switching my room Staff's failure in offering a proportionate compensation for lack of hot water The attitude towards guests that if there is no complaints, no immediate action needs taking even with most essential commodity such as hot water In conclusion, very dissatisfied with the service and will not use this hotel in the future

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was building work going on, the lift area was dirty with chips on the floor of the lift (for two days) plaster on carpet around lift, ceiling panels missing and building materials left in the 3rd floor passageways. I first stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor, where the wallpaper was peeling and only half of the light bulbs worked. The carpet was dirty (looked like spilt milk), the curtains were also dirty and appeared to be covered in a similar substance (I felt the need to wash my hands after closing the curtains), the mugs were dirty. The towels were frayed and there was no hot water from the shower. The next three nights I stayed in a single room which was much better, but the shower took 10mins to warm up and was never very warm. The towels provided were still old and very small and the first night the radiators were making a horrendous noise, but this stopped by about midnight. On the last night I was woken up at 11pm by the people in the next room who playing music tv very loudly and amazingly having sex even more loudly until about 2 am with various people coming and going.

As an overnight stay it's adequate, however we stayed in a front room and the traffic noise (no double glazing) and the constant "fish tank airation" noise did not aid a good nights sleep. Can't belive this hotel is still under redecoration. I stayed here 5/6 years ago and is was then as well (could be the same re-fit). Our shower was just a dribble.

Fairly cheap (excluding the charges if you request an early check-in or late check-out). The request for early check-in wasn't ready on time. The hotel itself is in an extremely poor condition (I.E.wallpaper is falling of the walls, carpet is incredibly worn) The rooms are absolutely atrocious (the door would hit the sofa bed upon opening, the lights would not turn on, the shower had no door to stop water leakage onto the floor)
