Unfortunately I cannot say that I liked anything about my stay at this hotel. Here is my list of dislikes:1.On arrival I found my room cold and there was no way of controlling the heating which was switched off. 2.The toilet did not flush, this was fixed the next day. 3.There was no cold water which meant the shower was unbearably hot, this was fixed the next day. 4.There was no kettle in the room, this was rectified. |

Quick check in, heating in rooms was fab. Maid knocking at the door 9am to clean when we were going to check out that day. Breakfast was chaotic, no structure, health & safety issues. Although heating in rooms was fab, in the corridors, restaurant really cold. |

The reception area and facilities on the ground floor were excellent. The breakfast was very good with a great variety. The photo's on the website and what was found on arrival in regards of the bedrooms were to say the least very inaccurate. Bedroom was very sub-standard, mould on walls and ceilings in bedroom. Bed linen had seen better days and shower area was very ancient |

Clean, comfortable, affordable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Excellent breakfast available. They didn't monitor the disabled bays. I struggled with standard parking spaces whilst non disabled used the bays for convenience. People being noisy late at night. |

The entrance hall was lovely. I didn't spend much time in the hotel so didn't see much. The bathroom was tiny - impossible to get into shower with bathroom door shut. Corridors to bedroom a bit tatty but being improved I think. Parking a bit meagre. |

The hotel is excellent value with a good bus service into the city. We have stayed here a few times and the recent upgrades have much improved the hotel. When we checked in we were told that they did not have our booking. This was rectified when I produced the printout of our booking.com confirmation. |

I read some bad reports about this hotel, I was pleasantly pleased how clean my room was, it had only just been decorated, for the prise of £25 it was good value for money Free Wifi in rooms would be nice, fortunately I had my own. |

Breakfast was okay The room had a strong smell of smoke - could have been doing with a freshen up paint wise, when looking out windows, there was old beds and mattresses lying about, bedding was clean but very old, bed was propped up on one corner with a piece of vertical blind. |

Reception and bar/restaurant look quite nice but once past reception it goes downhill fast. This is due to renovations taking place or not that were not mentioned at time of booking. |

The condition of the rooms was very poor. The single room had a televison that did not work, unmade bedding and also a big whole in the carpet. When we complained, the hotel did not offer us a new room, but offered to repair the television aerial so we could watch TV!! Very poor service and I certainly wont be staying there again |
